I'm the one who brought up the topic of Kirby's Copy ability in the first place so at least I should say what I know. Bayonetta Kirby is actually a lot better. Since his hurt box is lower, the bullets will be aimed lower as well. This can be a major annoyance in neutral for the bayonetta, and...

I said this in a previous post, and you can look at any of Phan7om's videos on YouTube (he's an amazingly technical player btw, one of my favourites), but Kirby has a lot of unexplored tech. Starting with his copy ability, he has reliable kill confirms with DK, Samus, Pac-Man, Shulk, Sonic, ZSS...

I believe that Kirby can do better, I'm a loyal Kirby main and I'm not pessimistic. I think he has the tools and combos to be a viable characters, and it's my job as a Kirby main to show it. And I don't think he needs a buff, I just think he needs to be recognized.

There is actually lots of unknown tech that Kirby has, different jab locks with up-tilt and falling up-air, like what Mega-Spider said, copy ability kill confirms, jab lock setups, combos, and shield break setups. There's his jab edge cancel, HUP cancel, HUP shield drop cancel, and of course...
