So just came back into PM after about 6 weeks in a Melee cycle and I noticed that my c-stick just doesn't respond sometimes. I don't remember this happening before my Melee stint. I play Toon Link so most noticeably I couldn't get my AGT's with anywhere near the same consistency as I could...

it can pop up, although it's not nearly as safe as marth / roy's so... I guess just feel it out

you didn't pull a bomb until 7:25. it's sort of the same idea as fox/falco. you have unlimitted ammo...use it

It actually looks like a hardware issue. If I just press R down and let it go it takes a noticeable extra amount of time to come back up. Gonna take my controller apart and give it a good cleaning, see if that works.

I'm trying to get into melee and I love it. But I can't seem to find a character that gives me the same feel as Toon Link does in PM. What are some of your (those of you who also play melee) melee mains and did what about them lets you have the same or close to the same play style as you can...

It doesn't always happen, but too frequently my shield comes out at the end of my wavedash. This is obviously an issue when trying to dash out of wavedash. Anyone ever have this habit / slip up? Any thoughts on what exactly is causing it?

Hey I'm from Haverhill too, I'll def be there. You only doing melee? I don't think I have a 100% unlocked copy of melee but I have PM. Also I'd have to come after work so prob not till 5:30 or 6

There is no way they would ever put Ryu in Smash because then Nintendo / Sakurai would have to give in to the whole "serious fighter" side of Smash. Stupid stubborn Sakurai...stupid sexy Flanders....

I think a back throw can be alright if they don't DI it right. I'm pretty sure as long as you can reliably come up at them while they're still in hitstun you'll be good.
