Young Link Collection

Young Link Collection

Intro:
This guide covers everything I know about Young Link that I think could have a use in competitive play, all in one google doc. I am always collecting more information, and it is updated on a weekly or monthly basis. It is open to improvement, just contact me with suggestions or fixes on Twitter: @NeilHarbin0

Includes so much information that you might get lost. Take a deep breath.

History:
This guide was started as a simple set of notes for myself in June of 2015. I have received a few minor additions from others suggestions, but the majority of this 99+ page guide was all written by myself. Images come from all over, but many of them were created either from my own TAS recordings, or my netplay gameplay, with a very small chance that a few are from stratocasters hitbox project (most if not all have been replaced).

Late 2019 saw a complete overhaul of the color scheme of the guide to a dark theme, with a mass replacement of move images and animations with color coded versions. Additionally, many sizing and alignment changes to cut down on wasted space, and to better convey information.

I have made many revisions to how information is displayed, but there is still a lot of work to do. I hope that eventually this can become the definitive resource for all Young Link mains, new and old.

Thank you for this guide! I main Young Link in Melee. You my sir, is awesome
Yet another wonderful guide for me to draw inspiration from. I particularly like the format of the GIFs and frame data in the Moveset section.
Thanks for writing this guide up! It's absolutely what YL mains need right now, to know all of their attacks, all of their functions , all of the frame data, all in one place! With this information they may create their own style and hopefully in their own way, push the character to new heights!
