Tether Trumping and Tether Jumps; AT's out of Tether

When Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS came, it surely bring many enhanced mechanics; one of them, in my opinion, is the tethers.

Tethers in Brawl were similar to Sm4sh's, but the lacked the now know "Z-Air" utilization, and with this I mean, a direct offensive use, having actual hitboxes.

currently there are only 5 characters who have tether moves: Link, Toon Link, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, and Lucas.

For understanding purposes, first, some aclarations:

-When I say "Tether" I mean its recovery purposes, when i say "Z-Air" I mean its offensive purposes.
-When I say "Snake" I will be referreing specifically to Lucas' tether/Z-Air, depending on context.
-Character specific stuff will be marked as :4link:,:4tlink:, :4samus:,:4zss:, or:4lucas:

Let's jump right in!

Tether Trumping
When holding on to the ledge with your tether, any other character can grab the ledge or even snatch another tether to it. This is actually pretty useful against characters with hitbox-less recoveries or predictable ones.

How do you tether-trump then? To do a TT, just snatch a ledge...and there you go! Simple, right? Well, it is all about timing; if you spend to much time holding with yout tether you will automatically grab the ledge and we don't want that, as the whole purpose of waiting is being able control when to trump your enemy, and don't rely on instant ledge grabs.

Methodology
:

Step 1) Snatch the ledge with you tether

Step 2) Once an enemy grabs the ledge, press up to trump them

Pros:

-Trump enemies whenever you want to
-Mix up your edgeguard game, instead of just using your regular Instant Ledge Grab

Cons:

-Leaves you defenseless and unable to attack while waiting

Effective to:

:4falcon::4dedede::4darkpit::4dk::4drmario::4duckhunt::4greninja::4jigglypuff::4lucario::4mewtwo::4olimar::4palutena::4pit::rosalina::4villager::4yoshi:

Specially Effective As:

:4zss:: ZSS
specially benefits from this as she can tether freely regardless of the direction she is facing dues to here Side-B

When trumping, you can easily punish and/or restart an edgeguards, so us tether-trumping as a new tech!

Tether Jump
(:4tlink:, :4samus:, :4zss:)

This tech is exclusive with those who have both tether and wall jumps, and this tech allows to extend an edgeguard. This tech also makes turnaround more easy and effective offstage.

This only works in stages with large walls to do wal jumps, are actually any place you can wall jump, like square omegas.

Methodology:

Step 1) Snatch the ledge with your tether

Step 2) In rapid succession, press Down to cancel your tether, then flick your controller in the oppossite direction of the wall you are facing, this way you can wall jump.

If it works, your character will wall jump almost instantly after cancelling your tether.

Effective As:

The most effective one would be Samus or Toon Link, as their WJ are pretty good compared to ZSS's. It would depend after it on the character's edgeguard abilities.

This will also improve all of these characters' offensive options while hanging on the tether.
