Some Simple Smash Ultimate

I don't think I need to say this game is great, but there are definitely a few things I just disliked about the game and found difficult to cope with and this guide is to get you on you off to a good start when you begin your adventure.

1. Story Mode
The ssbu story line is great and I personally enjoy it, but I hate to say that to get characters, it's way more effective and fast to just grind on regular smash mode because you will characters way faster. Either way, the story mode is something you need to play because you will guaranteed get bored of relentlessly fighting cpu's for an hour.

2. Online Mode
I like the online mode, but the arena feature sucks. It's nice to have but I find it lame that when the arena owner leaves the arena just shuts down. The other thing is please be honest about your skill level. Way to many times do I hop on the glorious smashers rank and find that there's a young link rapidly spamming fire arrows and making the game miserable. The battle arenas feel like another for glory experience and nobody liked that. The part I like about online mode is the GSP ratings. This allows you to play against people your level and get a good idea on what characters your good at and which ones your bad at since each character has its own GSP rating.

3. Smash Mode
Needless to say, this mode is the best way to get characters. My advice is play with some friends and make sure you win because the winner is who fights the new challenger. Smash mode also has plenty of modes which I just love and I'm sure you will as well.

4. Practice Mode
This is just great. I love testing things out and here and you now have nearly complete control of the cpu's options and abilities. The launch system and everything are perfect.

5. Mechanics
Now what you have all been waiting for, GAME MECHANICS! To be honest, they suck. Of course there are some things I like about them, but Nintendo went overboard and nearly ruined the game with nerfs. The main thing that was nice about the mechanics though was Nintendo made it more noob friendly so now the mechanics are a lot easier to cope with. So lets get started.
-Air dodging
I was so excited when I watched the Nintendo direct and saw the nerf to air dodges but the end lag of them just hurts me inside. The sheer hell of getting back to stage is so frustrating because when you get knocked off the stage your pretty much dead. If you air dodge an attack it takes for ever for the lag to end so you just have to take whatever your opponent hits you with and pray.
-Rolls
I'm fine with the roll nerf because they gradually get slower and have less intangibility frames so roll spammers watch out!
-Spot dodges
Yeah these are still the same.
-Shielding
The new perfect shield mechanic is really good but it's a lot more tough to pull off since you have to release the shield. However when you get it the game gives you plenty of intangibility and you get a strong punish on your enemies.
-Movement
B-reverse still exists but now it is extremely easy to pull off a dash dance so have fun with that.
-Teching
Nothing is un-techable anymore except when your at higher percents and close to a wall.
-Ledge stuff
Still the same.
-Smash attacks
Same thing but they charge longer.
-DI/LSI
Essentially the same as DI and vectoring, SDI is still a thing but bayo's up air launches more to the side now so you don't have to worry about 0 to death kills.
6. Roster
The roster is quite balanced and most of the cast is really good but it's almost like our plea for less toxic characters fell on deaf ears and now projectile spamming and other toxic play styles have been buffed. EX: young link; his arrows fire insanely fast. However the other bad thing is that there is an extremely clear line between top tier and high tier so some characters are just royally broken. Ahem* S-Snake. Also the new mechanics make jigglypuff even worse.
7. Ha JK there is no 7
-Conclusion
In the end, super smash bros ultimate is a fun game but when picking your main just be aware of the mechanics and stuff so you can get the best out of your experience and not be heartbroken like me when you find out your favorite character sucks. Happy Christmas!

I'm honestly not too sure what this guide is about. In the intro, you make it seem like you're about to give beginner tips but all you've written after is basically your opinion about the changes in the game. I'd recommend taking a second look at your guide to make sure it reflects what you really wanted to write about.
