Peach & Her Ambiguous Reach

Peach & Her Ambiguous Reach

Game Versions
Smash 3DS
Some of the tech is outdated i gotta do a overhaul of this guide.
(N-Air Lock is removed that technique was removed the game)
and the other technique that was posted.

Are You interested in playing peach? Well you should be she has tons of tools in her arsenal to make her a tricky character to deal with.
Its weird for people to get a feel for this character because they don't quite understand her. She isn't a fast moving hard hitter like Fox, C.Falcon or lil mac She isn't a speed demon Like Sonic, Pikachu, Sheik & T.Link. Nor is she is a power house. So what makes peach interesting?
She has Technique. When you learn to control this technical character properly you will see why the people who main her are so infatuated with this character in this game.

So when learning peach the first thing you want to do is get a feel of all of her moves. Test out the max distance for her tilts, smash attacks, Aerial & Special moves. The reason you want to learn the max distance on all of her moves is because you want your risk of being punished as low as possible at all times.
For Example: When Peach does her forward air she takes off her crown then swings it followed by the crescent swinging slash animation. When your attacking lets say a shielded opponent and you do your forward air while in the float cancel (ill get into the float cancel later) and you hit the Shield with the Crescent part of the F-air, you get grabbed. but if you space it so were you hit with the crown you can pull back and be out of grabbed range. This works for the B-air as well.

-THROWS-

  • Up Throw - Your going to be mainly be using this move for Set ups & air dodge baits. you can combo for U air in training but it wasn't practical in game

  • Forward Throw - At low percent it puts you in range for dash attack. And when the throw has a bit more knock back thats a good time to start plucking turnips safely.

  • Down throw - Peach can follow up with float cancel B - air, D - air, N - air and possibly Up - air at the right percentage. Your Opponent might be able to air dodge or shield if the percentage is to low, but I believe your still at frame advantage because the N - air has fast recovery so you might be able to a D tilt or F tilt to keep you safe.

  • Back throw - Idk float cancel forward B?

Techniques
  • Float cancel - This Technique is probably one of her most useful and gives her a extra movement option. This technique will leave your opponents scratching there head thinking they was within the her range. You want to try to zone all of your aerials and weave any incoming attacks/projectiles with this Technique. Alittle thing i like to do to get her across the stage quick is Dash> jump > instant float cancel > repeat (She is secretly lil macs counter. a counter hitter/out boxer)

  • Jump cancel toss - This Technique Is to get the most range out of our turnip throws. Just simply tap jump before throwing the turnip and peach will slide a little further.
