First im not perfect like Ryo but i am pretty skilled with Ike so feel free to put your own tips tricks or combos too. This character alongside Roy are the only characters I can try hard with seemingly perfect strings and reads and I can come back from a really bad disadvantage and will quickly.
One of Ikes best feature it that he is a heavy weight with mobility, range, and combos. His best combo starters are down throw at low % and up throw at high % at around 7-20% dthrow to aether (up special) is good to attack combo that keeps oppenents near you for a follow up attack. If you dont like aether than fair or nair are other options that remain reliable to much higher %s. When not using your grab combos your tilts jab and dsmash are relitively fast and good punish options. A good shield poker is 2 hit jab to dtilt which if done correctly can lead to fair nair uair sspecial or even aether. If the oppenent is far away a good move to use is sspecial in the air to rush towards the target as long as its on the ground when you jump dont jump to high that you become vanurable mid air but so the attack ends either with hitting the enemy or stopping in front for a follow up grab or jab also mindgames can be played with this move including instead of grabbing or using a jab use counter instead. Bair is strong and reliable and if done in a perfect pivot short hop can do some damage or even kill this is good for edgtrumping or edgegaurding. Recovery wise aether is good for vertical distance and sspecial is good for horizontal distance and even getting behind the opponent if high enough. Be careful though sspecial can be gimped by people willing to take a hit and you will fall to your death. Edgegaurding with ike is simple and if you dont want to leave the stage than eruption (nspecial) is good at spiking uncharged or just hitting the enemy. If you feel skilled enough jump off and us sspecial to lunge right back to to ledge to grab it and if timed correctly you can stage spike the opponent. You can also use aether if timed and spaced correctly. Your final option is well, dair.
