Playing against an overly aggressive player in the beginning is frustrating, but this guide can help you. If you are not a beginner, please leave, you will not learn anything new.
Ok, lets say your up against captain falcon player, and he/she constantly uses side special, down special, and dash attack. It may seem impossible to get a hit in. Instead of trying to beat them to the punch, use their over aggression against them. Back when i first played smash i thought the sheild was useless, i was a casual at the time, BOY WAS I WRONG!
Back to the falcon example, let's say the falcon player loves to jump, then use falcon kick. You have two options against this. Option 1: Simply sheild the falcon kick, and use any attack afterwards (preferably, a smash attack since a falcon kick leaves him wide open)
Option two: go to the ledge and wait for them to do the falcon kick, block and they may kill themself by accident, which is quite humorous
