So... anything new come up this weekend besides, you know, the rumor that SMRPG would be released on the VC on Monday? Well, I certainly have good news; I'm now ranked as the 99th best Mii creator in the country on the Check Mii Out Channel and my Geno Mii has made it to the popular page!
Because Fatmanonice doesn't fit on the "nametag" I decided to go with the screenname Geno and my icon is the Geno Mii. I've created about 60 Mii's and submitted them on the channel. My Mandy (Billy and Mandy), Omi (Xaolin Showdown), and Ed Mii's have also made it to the popular page and these were some of my earliest creations. As time goes by, I think a lot more of mine will hit the popular page once more people begin to discover them. For the most part, I do cartoons from popular American and Japanese cartoons/movies. I just wanted to tell you guys about that just incase you happened to notice that on the rankings page.

It took me more then an hour to make it and I tried to stay as close to the game sprite design in SMRPG as possible (thus explaining why Geno doesn't have a nose). Oh and because no one else attempted to do him, I also created a Mallow Mii too a couple of weeks ago:

When on the popular page, "click" the icon and more options will come up. There is an icon with a crown and it says "Mii Artisan rankings." Click on that and it'll show you the top 100 Mii Artists in the country. Currently, I'm 99th and Nintendo said that the new rankings would be presented on December 4th. Like I said, I mostly only do cartoons because 1. most of the celebrities people have done are horrifically overused and 2. cartoons offer a lot more venues for creativity.

You're talking about Geno Miis, right? The channel has about 25 of them but I'd have to say that only 5 of them are really all that good. There's one where the person did an excellent job creating Geno's hat almost indentically but the face is really low on the head and I figured someone from here made it.

From what I've seen, the two third party characters added so far got in more because of the people who created them rather then the third party companies themselves. For example, we already know that Hideo Kojima is a really good friend of Sakurai and was logically the one that convinced Konami to let Nintendo use Snake for Brawl and, despite him no longer working for Sega, I can almost guarentee that Yugi Naka (the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog) played a large role in getting Sonic in Brawl based on interviews that have said that him and Shigeru Miyamoto are very close and how they have talked about putting their respective characters in a game together as far back as the SNES/Genesis era. Regarding other third party characters, I know that Inafune (Megaman's creator and currently Capcom's President *or something high ranking*) and Miyamoto have been friends since about the arcade era and that they have worked together on some of the handheld Zelda games like the Minish Cap and Oracle of Seasons/Ages but I don't know anything regarding the people who created Bomberman, Pac-Man, etc.
Regarding Geno, however, I do know that both of SMRPG's directors now work under Nintendo under the company Alpha Dream and played a large role in getting Geno in Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga without dragging Square Enix into the development. Miyamoto was also the producer of both games so that helps as well.

Im worried about the outcome of this game. I sure hate to see fans disappointed, but to Geno there's two big sides one for and one against
