Hey I just recently moved to Corvallis for Grad School at OSU, I'm dying to play smash with people. I see that there are two top ten Oregon smashers here! Is there an active community?

The stage rules are based on competitive philosophy.
Any non-banned stage may be used for the first round of competition if both players verbally agree to it (pressing start and claiming the other person "agreed" is not consent).
Stages like Termina are reserved for casual play. There will be plenty of time for items: ON, and casual stages to be used before and after the competitive events. My Little Sister's Jigglypuff will join in on the Pokeball battles on New Pork City, that's her favorite stage because of the Chimera.

My general rule for stages: The better Kirby does on the stage, the more likely it should be banned. The obvious reasoning is because only bad stages will be good for bad characters.

But srsly was a great last best bout we had 30 people for melee and got it all done fairly quickly which I was happy with. Glad the majority of people could make it out, ggs adam. Good **** Keith on getting 4th keep it up man. Ryan & Brick both were close games and you're both getting better at the sheik match up which is awesome. Brandon and Master C, glad to see you guys there ggs. Hope everyone had a good time.
