Event - E3 Invitational 2014 The first character you will try at Smash fest best buy!

I'll play it safe and pick someone like Mario or Link or possibly Pit and then MAYBE play as one of the six newcomers we know of thus far! Oh and see if theres a no items option included in the demo too!

I'm great with Marth so I'm curious to see if I still got it. I'll also love to try Little Mac and Villager if I get the chance. I'll wait for Smash Bros. at Best Buy. I'll wait for a maximum of upwards to an hour.

So you are waiting online to play smash bros wii u at smash fest at your local best buy. You finally get up to play after hours of waiting. What character will you try?! Lets assume all confirmed characters are playable. What character will you try first?
I am so used to kirby and how he plays that I think he is my go to!

If Mega Man is there, definitely him. Otherwise, I'm not sure, we'll have to look around.

I love Kirby to death but I feel they haven't changed him enough for me to pick him first (especially since I may only have a few times to play) so I'll wait till winter. When the game comes out though Kirbyis going right on top of the main list as always.

Most likely Greninja. I don't know the idea of having a water ninja pokemon as a character to Smash with is just cool to me. Plus, I wanna be the best damn Greninja player ever so... (will never happen )

Greninja... and not just any Greninja. shiny Greninja. my number one badass for wifi battles on XY. Then ill probably go Rosalina because of her interesting gimmick. Then if i got time which probably wont, Marth, Olimar, or Sonic and maybe find out if Fox sucks as much as he did on Brawl

Wii Fit Trainer without a doubt. I mean, so far she's the only character whose trailer made me cry hype tears so I just gotta see and gotta know how she plays out! :D

Also, I think I'll stick with Ms. Fit and not Mr. Fit

I am not necessarily going to the event; but I would probably stick with the character that I am most curious about, Link. He is my main in Smash 64, Melee, and Project M. So I am curious about his alterations, plus I am very experienced with him, so it is a win-win. Otherwise, Little Mac would be my choice.

Jigglypuff was my main in Smash 64 and Melee; but I can barely use her in Brawl, I thought she might be better in Project M. She feels like dead-weight in Project M, I am not very hopeful that she will be much better in Smash 4. If she is, by all means, I will pick her up again. When I joined the forum, I was an avid Melee player, so I was much more into my main, but with Smash 4 around the corner, I decided to predominately play Brawl and ultimately download Project M. As such, she isn't really my main. I still use her in Brawl, but only when I am trying to have fun.

I know it's silly, but Pikachu for me.

As a Pikachu main, I want to see the changes they made to him. Seeing how I play him a lot, I should be able to notice any changes relatively quickly.

If I was given another character to play, I would say wii fit trainer.

If it's going to be anything like last year then you should expect several hours of standing and waiting.

I'm not sure why anyone here thinks they'll get to try out multiple characters. I guarantee they're only going to let you play once and probably just for a minute.

Depends on the crowd and how much I'm allowed to experiment. Controller choices matter, also. Ideally, I'd like to play WFT with a pro controller.

First characters I'd play would be Little Mac and Megaman, in that order, probably followed by WFT, Villager and maybe Greninja.
I feel it best to try the newcomers, in order of interest, before I move on to my usual main and I would not be hugely bothered if I didn't get time to try the lil' pink guy in the demo.

EDIT: This is, of course, assuming the UK has an equivalent event.

I mean how could I not? The Blue Bomber has been a personal favorite character from the moment I played Megaman 2 as a kid. He'll be my first character I play as hands down. If he's not unlocked when the game launches he'll probably be the one I try to unlock first.

I'm gonna pick Mario first, to get a feel for the physics, then if I get another chance to play, I'll go Little Mac or Greninja.

Either way, Mario is my main since 64, so playing him first is much more important to me personally.

True. But there haven't been any characters like her, moveset wise, and that's why I want to pick her up. Luma looks fun.
