Lol. Wtf was Mellis thinking at the end of that match?

Did he think the Falco's partner was just going to let him keep needle edge guarding him?

Misc video - Ken's Directional Influence

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMCIIQL_33E

Sorry if this was posted before, its an old school video but regardless it is amazing
****, Ken had really good reflexes.

I especially like the part on Yoshi's Island (pipes) where he DI'd Falco's f-smash up into the spinning blocks and immediately wall jump teched. That was some fast thinking.

I think this should be in the miscellaneous section. You don't see many item combo vids and this is by far the best.

That was pretty beast.

And, what's even better, is that it's recent.

I hope the Japanese will go to the states for one of our upcoming big tournaments, as well as Europe.

Hoo, Hoo, Ho, Hoo... Hoo-Hoo!

Good **** to DJ.

Now, what would have been sick is if DJN and Dogy were commentating while playing this match.

Would have been funny to hear them **** talk while fighting each other. :bee:

Nope. 3 stocks don't count.

Tang was still pretty impressive back in the day.

And, the Shiek wasn't exactly bad... It's just that everyone's DI was hella bad back then.

Lol, super west coast DI. :)

Oh, and if you aren't sure if a match has been posted yet, just remember to use "ctrl + f".

You just use "ctrl + f" and type in what player or character you want to find. If the player you want is on my thread, he/she'll come up.

Holy ****!

And, a zero-to-death at the end?

Is this really the same Peach who beat Mew2King?

Calle W needs to come over to the states... :)

Mew2King (Marth) vs. Moose (Falco)
JV 4 stock

Moose (Falco) vs. Kels (Fox)
JV 4 stock except for 2% he did with a laser at the very end before dying

I already have the first match posted.

And, yeah. Like John said... If it isn't 0%, it's not a JV.

That doesn't fit the conditions!!!

/cero

Seriously though, that's crazy, I don't know what Kels was thinking. And Armada? :(
Lol, sorry If I come off strict sometimes.

Just know that if I didn't set any rules, then this thread would probably suck...

Indeed, it is my thread.

Look, don't worry about it. If it weren't for Kels consciously avoiding the JV, that match would have definitely made it on my thread.

You're acting like that's the last time you'll ever **** someone of that caliber while being recorded. You'll get better and you'll do more things like this as you progress; so don't sweat it. :)

Calle W isn't going to Pound 4. I can't imagine Armada wasn't sandbagging during that match, but a win is a win. And Calle ***** HIM.

Darkrain or SS vs Armada will be interesting.

There was a state here, it's gone now...

I don't mean to john for the guy, but Armada did look a bit sluggish in that match. Just saying lol. It appeared to me that his usual fluidity was missing. Even so, Calle W still beat the living **** out of him :dizzy:.

Nobody's perfect guys, even M2K has gotten ***** before. The only player that I don't think has ever been truly wiped out is Mango. That is, I can't remember a match in recent history that Mango got destroyed in, maybe someone can refresh my memory?
Maybe a really old match against Ken's marth is the only match in which Mango looked truly helpless,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdHSj9q_P7I
but that probably wouldn't happen now with Mango's current level of play and experience.

Please feel free to submit more matches. If possible, provide the names of both players and which characters they're using. The only conditions for comebacks are that:

  • The winning player must be on his last stock.
  • The losing player must have had at least 3 stocks left before the comeback.
  • Matches where the loser SD's multiple times are okay. The SD's just have to be accidental.
  • Must be a full match. (from start to finish)
Nice finish, though. :)
