Joker was actually released on launch day, with the patch, but it's being kept a secret until Atlus releases Persona 5 Racing.

The main 2019 games I'm looking forward to are Pokemon 2019 (please be good please be good) and Fire Emblem: Three Houses (please be good please be good please for the love of Naga be good).

I'll probably be playing a lot of Smash throughout 2019 regardless though. I stopped playing consistently by the end of Smash 4's life but it's still probably one of my most played games on both 3DS and Wii U, and Ultimate is looking to follow suit.

As for tilt, my best strategies for it are to take a short break or switch characters. I find that by constantly spamming matches wanting to break a losing streak I end up losing way more, so I stopped doing so. It's oftentimes that slight change in pace that helps me get out of a losing streak.

I try to take breaks but I think I generally don't take long enough ones. If I put down the controller for an hour or even two hours I'll still generally feel a little frustrated again when I next see my score.

I don't normally have a lot of time to play online on workdays so there's this little nagging feeling inside me that wants to squeeze as much Smash into my days off as I can get.

My main game I'm waiting for is of course Yoshi's Crafted World

Of course if Metroid Prime 4 or Bayonetta 3 come out this year, that'd be cool too

Erdrick (Not even gonna mention a different surprise for SqEnix, given how hopelessly selfish they may be), Shantae (Even if she's got a minimal chance, that's definitely not an excuse), Crash or even some kind of Cygames fighter, aaaaand I guess my final spot is a toss up between Edelgard and a future Pokémon.

It's 2019 over here in Florida right now.

Honestly, I am pretty frustrated that I crammed on writing my thoughts on Smash Ultimate in general.

I've been too busy playing Ultimate, MM3D, and DQ8 to bother writing.

At this point, sharing my thoughts on the November direct would feel pointless.

December was a terrible time for me, in terms of scheduling.

I got Smash Ultimate for Christmas and I've been having a blast playing the game so far. I even got a Ridley amiibo as a surprise gift as well. I haven't started World of Light yet, but it looks fun. Here's to a happy 2019! This will be an exciting year for the Switch as well as Smash Ultimate DLC!

The only movie I can think of that I'm super excited for this year is Avengers: Endgame. I really hope it lives up to its expectations.
