Screen KOs = Absolutely hilarious

I'm talking about these KOs where a character literally slams flat on the screen and stays there before sliding down. Kinda like... this.

Ouch.

I remember them being kind of boring but right now in last SSBs... but right now, they polished these KOs to have this very slapstick comedy-like impact. Makes me feel like young kid again grinning at this type of violence.



What makes this even funnier is that no matter who you are or are like, a goddess, a calm and collected royalty, a dark prince, a ninja frog, etc- any character playable in this game are made to sure someway silly. Hence why I used Zelda as an example.

I agree with this sentiment, the screen KOs are much better in this game. It is probably childish, but I actually found myself giggling when they hit the screen. I cannot wait to see everyone of them, it is a nice little feature that only contributes to the personality of the game.

These battletoad KO's as I call them and should be the standard name make me nervous. If im playing doubles and some one gets a battleotoad ko, then they get a free Nintendog assist. they are pretty intrusive. It will be bragging points though in singles.

Nice reference. To this day, I still have no idea how to throw the grunts at the screen in this game. I beat Shredder pressing the buttons randomly.

I noticed this as well, and I must say, this is just one of those little details that actually adds a lot to the game. I think it's quite hilarious and makes the game look so much more... I suppose "fun" would be the best word to describe it. This makes the game look more fun. That's always a good thing.
