Project Ganondorf - Help get de-cloneing Ganon in smash ultimate trending!

Hey thanks for the FPC link! Butttt i have found that before and its not what im looking for exactly lol. For now i just want the gct codes where you just put in the code lets say for lucario, and then switch the one line around or whatever to make him load a different soundbank.

Does that make any sense? I used to have them but i cant find them now!


And.. if you could eventually help me out with cloning lucario that would be super amazing for me and also everyone :D

Well, it won't really be adding new slots. I'll just cannibalize the alloy slots and make them available for ordinary character use.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is actually probably better than adding slots.. Cause eventually the PMDT is gona (probably?) be adding 5 more clone characters, and that could interfere with custom clones. Or is the PMTD doing the same thing you're doing for cloning?

As far as I know, the PMDT doesn't have any plans to use the alloys as custom characters. It's going to take a fair amount of work though, since the old "play as alloys" code didn't actually address a critical issue with the alloys. While I'm working on that, I'll also make a Ganon port over a character so that people can have both movesets. Is there a particular character that you'd like to replace in the cast?

I know what you want, but what I meant was to preserve original ganon's moveset (i.e. as black shadow) for now so that people could use both mods at once. Until I fix the alloy glitches, this would be the best option.

Out of complete curiosity, do you plan on giving every character this kind of treatment?
Regardless, awesome mod! I know a good handful of friends who will have a very pleasant surprise once I update my build with this upon release.

Hey, I'm the person who commented on the blogspot about potentially just altering all the Melee clips to use the giant versions. Just wanted to throw in my two cents that if you're gonna make one match the other, definitely shift Melee's clips to match OoT's. Gives a more authentic OoT Ganondorf experience.

That said, this mod is frickin' amazing, and exactly what I've been looking for in Ganondorf ever since I played OoT and fought him, and noticed how horribly, horribly wrong his moveset in Melee was. This moveset looks exactly like how that boss would fight put into Smash.

It's just a shame I'll never play it since I don't have Project M and really don't wanna delete my 30+ custom stages just to play as him.

Not every character really has a whole bunch of resources to use though so it's not possible for some characters, granted it'd still be cool if it was done for some other characters

Project m is worth it man. Just back up your custom stages :p

Copy the contents of your SD card to a folder on your laptop, replace said contents with Project M, plug the mod in, and go have some fun. Easy.

Unfortunately, I have the approximate tech skill and knowledge of a brick, so I'm not sure what most of that means and/or how to go about it.

you should be able to find those values in decimal by opening up brawl's .bsrar in BrawlBox. Go under snd/se and you should be able to find the boss banks.
Ah ok perfect! Now, this code is a bit funny..

In zzzz should I be putting 0021 for lucario?

And then in yy.. the boss value is a 3 digit number. So is it fine to add 3 digits, or would I delete more of the code before yy to keep the length of that line the same?

And finally, I'm not sure if there's a typo in the code, but the line with yy has one extra character - you can see that line is longer than the rest. Is that a typo? As far as I know lines need to be the same length.

For the zzzz part, it says to multiply the character's value by 0x04. For Lucario, this comes out to 0x54. As for YY, I can give you the right value by converting the boss' one into hexadecimal. Also, the thing about lines needing to be the same length isn't entirely true I believe.

By looking at the code it seems to want 0x54. Of course, if that doesn't work, go on ahead and try 0054.

21 may be, but the code tself says that xxxx should be the character's given value times 0x04. About the extra zero, I don't know personally.

Quick update! Thanks to @PyotrLuzhin I'm one step closer to release :p
I got my soundbank working properly again now. Still have a couple snags i need to fix, but the end is nigh.

Also, check my blog out! Ive updated it with an FAQ, and i'll be posting in depth moveset descriptions tomorrow :)

Oh, and not to cut in on your actual productive conversation, but what were the remixes of the LttP Ganon and OoT Ganondorf battles you used in that first segment and the magic moveset segment? I recognize the first OoT Ganondorf remix being from ZREO, but not the second one.

Fist ganon vs link - I actually am not sure who made this song. I can just tell you someone by the youtube name "xergoritjus XII" posted it. Not sure if he actually made it or not though.

Sword ganon gerudo valley remix - dj-jo according to Youtube.

Would you consider making a version of the fist moveset where nothing is changed from Project M(except the UP-B hand position thing, and obviously the down taunt to activate the sword mode)?

You may have to sacrifice some voice clips for both sides to do so, but I'd like to see it done in that way. Feels more complete; I want to use both without having to turn off my game and copy and paste a ton of files.

If file size is a large issue, I wouldn't mind it if Captaindorf's moveset was scrapped to accommodate for them both (Twilightdorf is default). This would also fix the issues that some people have with Taunt Switching, myself included.

I believe he stated that OoT Ganon goes over lucario
