Assman Sean - You're an assman! DUN DUN! Yeah you're an assman! DUN DUN! YEAH DUNDUNDUNDUNDUN etc. I saw some of your teams games with Spawn, you guys did pretty awesome. Keep up the awesome Weegee-ing.
Banks - Good job in teams with SOLAR, you guys didn't do bad at all. I don't think we really hung out all this tournament, but since we're both Maine it's excusable. Great stuff slaying another Falco, maybe one day you'll take mine down LOL. I think you already have though. Your name in the singles bracket was priceless (The Non-Black Blade Breaker)
Black Jinjo - You REALLY shouldn't have announced you were coming. You could have walked into the place and yelled "NOBODY EXPECTS BLACK JINJO" and I probably would have crapped my pants on the spot. It's been too long. Glad to see you're still playing.
Boxman - You must have leveled up your controller fixing skill by a hundred levels or so, you really stepped it up. You need a tri-wing though. Christmas gift for you. It seems you have a 4x pokemon weakness vs Luigis, you can practice against mine next time you spend the night or whatever.
Budai - Props on noticing my hair.
CogSmooch - So I heard your cousin is Christian Bale? That's amazing ****, no questions asked. Glad to hear you enjoyed your name tag. I don't think I've ever played friendlies with you, just one tournament set at a Maine tournament. That's not good =(
Cort - I thought I had you in game 1, but I guess it wasn't my day. Your Peach is pretty scary to play against, but I think my Sheik did a better job fighting it than my C.Falcon at the last tournament, which kind of makes me sad because I like playing C.Falcon more. That bomb in game 2 was the greatest Peach-related thing that has happened to me, even if it did lead to me dying. Our teams games were great, that shine spike I got on you on Hyrule was hilarious for some reason. You know which one I'm talking about. The only one I got. Good call on "Apple Blade Breaker," but after pondering it for awhile, you could have gone with "Judge Judy Blade Breaker," or even "Ben Stein Blade Breaker."
Darc - no u live in ma house
Elen - Glad I could be of some help for the tournament, if only for 5 minutes. I'm not mad you stole my normal teammate, but you're still a yellow-bellied coward for doing that. I'm sure you like that though, you yellow. Good work on the tournament.
Emmy - Fun teams friendlies. Your Zelda is still too good.
Game Universe - Too good Venue. Too cramped, though. Too many games on shelves I wanted to buy but decided not to. Too many Chrono stuff I would have wasted money on if I had it. Final Destination.
Hayato - I really wanted to play against you in singles, I thought I might be able to pull off some crazy upset against you, but then you go and beat Darc. My chances disappeared really fast after that =(. Then I wanted to play against you and th0rn in teams, but you guys lost to Pup n' Suds. =(. We'll play sometime soon. Also, we have to Kirby ditto. In fact, it might become our round 2 matchup after our tradition of Y.Link/Marth/Cruise. What stage should we decide on?
Iron Chief - Don't sweat the loss against Milktea, she's certainly not a bad player and she plays Peach. Peach vs Ice Climbers is pretty ugly. Glad you could make it despite the conditions of you driving to tournaments.
Keto - Long shoutouts are what all true warriors strive for! Keep practicing hard, experiment with your playstyle when you practice. The last time we played (the tier list gauntlet), you seemed to focus on landing that up+B instead of continuing the combo. Learn how to stretch out your combos into large damage, then place the up+B. When all else fails, Skler.
KevinM - OH MY GOD YOU'RE SO TALL. Glad to see your experimenting with other characters is giving you some success. I still want to play your Bowser sometime. SNF? Maybe.
KoreanDJ - You never told me what that delicious feast you were eating on my head was called. It looked delicious, and you called it a "feast" when I asked, but you never elaborated. I'm just gonna order "Delicious Feast" at every restaurant I go to. I'll eventually get it. Watching you play Rock Band was pretty amazing, especially Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld. That was hilarious. Glad to see you haven't "fully" quit, I told you it was impossible
Larx/Enrique Verde/Racer X - Your white hair was pretty amazing, even if the feel of it bothered you. I'm afraid you were out-Larxed on the trip to the tournament, when I yelled "OH MY GOD THERES NO ONE DRIVING THAT CAR" at that car being towed. BETTA STEP IT UP. Amazing shoutouts.
MattDotZeb - Good job helping with the tournament? I dunno. I actually don't think we hung out enough for me to give you an actual shoutout =(
Milktea - There are many variations of I've been called in place of Dazwa. Dazwakoozamakaya, Dazwario, Dazamazing, Dazwamania, Dazmanian Tevil, Razmataz Daz, and Dazvha (a town in Ukraine), but Sexwa is the strangest. There's just no Daz in it. How many tournaments have we both been to but not even played against each other? Not even in teams? Not to mention you JUST played Darc for the first time. I'm sure we'll meet up in singles sometime, and you'll pull off some crazy upset and get 1st in the Power Rankings or some jazz. As it turns out, that dye on my skin underneath my eyebrow isn't dyed skin, apparently only one part of my eyebrow got dyed. I seriously have rainbow eyebrows.
nealdt - Your tournament program probably just exploded from all of the awesome you put into it.
Nus - You are awesome, and we don't get a chance to play against each other enough. I'm sad about that. I too am glad I only gave you pounds, so I wasn't a smelly handshaker.
Pat/Pro - Our random character singles game was also pretty amazing (but because of the stage selection, not nearly as amazing as my set against th0rn). We'll have to replay the Kirby/Doc/FoD matchup like I do with Hayato and Y.Link/Marth/Cruise. Stop making johns during a game. It's annoying. Other than that, fun times.
PC Chris - I don't know if it was obvious when I said it, but I don't really hate you. Your 0-death on me in that first game was crazy, but I think I rallied a mini-comeback that never fully blossomed =( Oh well. Pokefloats was fun as always, and our teams games were just as fun. One of these days I'll win $1 from you in a money match and you'll have to call yourself The $9999 Blade Breaker, though. When I talked to you before I had to play Cort, and I said "Red Apple...3 AM" you laughed a little, but I'm not sure if you got the joke.
Did you? Can't wait to see what your new name will be. People will fear the name "PikaMaster263."
Pine - I'm really glad I didn't have to play against you in singles. I'm not sure if I would have pulled my revenge off. Good stuff beasting and placing fifth again. Pup N' Suds is as scary as ever. I laughed on the inside on that really early kill I got in that one game (back throw -> back air -> dropped down -> forward air -> edgehog), but then you re-spawned and just combo'd me like I was a sandbag.
Purple Cobra - Red Power! Red is truly the best hair color, next time I might go for more red and less brown, but no promises, because my current hair is pretty awesome. Glad to see non-PupNSud NHers again.
Skler - Red Power! Pup N' Suds is plain out amazing. Playing against you guys is scary, I'm glad Dave and I managed to get the win against you guys, because it's a huge win. You guys are a tough obstacle to fight, and your Link itself a scary monster.
SOLAR - Thanks for driving all of us down to the tournament. Good job in teams with Banks. Our singles set was really fun, I'm a little sad though that you know about Mute City and its Peachey goodness though =(. Glad to hear you can make it back into the competitive scene with your more flexible job schedule.
Spawn - The teams friendlies we played were amazing. Since I haven't posted shoutouts in the VLS thread yet, thanks for picking me up Taco Bell when I was stuck playing pools matches. When the idea of eating Taco Bell with Spawn and Zoso came up, I got excited, then realized the dark truth of my situation =(. But you saved the day. You truly live up to the expectations placed on you with that Superman logo on your hoodie.
**** Tom - Good **** helping run the tournament, and from what I remember, you didn't do too bad in singles, either. You're awesome, and if you sung in Rock Band and I somehow missed that, I'd be really sad.
th0rn - Our singles set was the most entertaining set I've ever played in a tournament. Our set came down to that first game, because game 2 you got your main and game 3 I got my Low Tier main...which is funny to think about, because in the first game, both of us only got 1 kill on each other, and the stage owned us both. Big Blue should be allowed in tournaments. Good job in teams with Hayato. We'll do really good at the tournament we team at, I hope.
Turtles, Eve, KrazyJones - Wow, our teams set was really amazing. You kept us on our toes the entire time, but Dave and I managed to get the win. It's always a pleasure seeing you guys at tournament. One of these days I'll get in-tournament revenge against Eve.
Questor/Greene Archer - Our singles set was fun, your Marth game 2 caught me off guard a little with that nice edgeguarding, but I squeaked in the win.
I can't believe we've never played before, I already knew the name "Questor," but not sure where from.
V - Glad you could make it. Fun friendlies, but since I've teamed with Nus in friendlies, and have yet to team with you in friendlies, I'm sad =(. Maybe next time.
ZoSo - The best for last. Red Power! Aside from the random partner kills, we have ridiculously good teamwork. 2v1 combos everywhere. If th0rn hadn't already asked to team with me at the next tournament Darc doesn't go to, I'd team with you in a heartbeat. Our practice was entertaining, especially your last stock edgeguarding and my random sheiking. I need to learn to start calling you Dave, I generally try to call people by their real names, but for you "Dave" just doesn't seem right. And I have no idea why. And that's terrible. I'm glad we pulled through in our loser's finals set against Pup n' Suds.
I'm gonna go play some Skies of Mother ****ing Arcadia now.
