Well, I really wonder what you will have to say if the poll wasn't leaned to your favor and letting you so "YESZ!" without question.

Yes, I was glad that this kind of poll exists, but that doesn't make one able to tolerate when one tries to do stuff unfairly. These are two very different things, to remind. Also, that's not just a simple tweet, it's the same thing that led polls lean towards Krystal for not one but more that three times. I've experienced two polls falling apart in this way (one pollmaker and strawpoll, one of which also involves Shantae, and similarly I wasn't fond of), even Sourcegaming experienced one more, in a poll where the to vote was 87 votes, that tweet shenanigans gave the poll 400 extra votes for Krystal. That last example alone already shows why one would really lose credibility on this.

Besides, I've never said I "wanna jump ship" for this or such. In the second thing you quoted, I clearly gave a data on the impact of the tweet. Up to that time (unable to check now), the tweet still wasn't too destructive, and "depends on what you think", the tweet didn't give too much impact. yet. There is an undeniable affect on the poll, I hope you do realize. And even so in that message, I only stated I wasn't in the mood of updating it, at least until the problem is somewhat more neutralized, as I added. If you're seriously thinking me being narrowminded just because your character got an advantage and you're not given an updated result that makes you go "YES", then oh well.

Next, you said if Wolf got a similar situation. I can tell you why that would even need to happen and no one would really be affected, thus that is just a poor example. First, Wolf is already on the top of the poll, and that is clearly visible to everyone. Nothing will change if he got a boost since he already had a 0.2 gap away from the second. And even if it did, no one would be affected. Second, Wolf is one of the most wanted, if not the most wanted, veteran. That's almost a known fact, and you can't really deny it. Even if you further top it, at least it won't be as affective as Krystal, who apparently before the tweet has a bigger portion of 1 votes, at least it won't like move Wolf to a few places higher. Sure, there still is an effect, but at least less purple would be able to actually notice the difference, or would be surprised that he is at the top few.

Now in case you take other characters and try to argue with it, my response would still be the same: I surely wouldn't be satisfied, at least if it affected the poll like this.

I know, you Krystal fans hate me like Star Fox Zero. And I'm sure more than just you are "ashamed of being a Wolf fan" in response of me. But well, if you're trying to get started with the case like this, Nothing would be remotely better.

I still think you should rate a character based on how much you'd like them to be in Smash, not how likely Sakurai is to get them right or whatever. Like the Inklings for example, I doubt he'd get their movement right and everything, but I gave them a 5 because I really want them in the game regardless. I hope others do the same...

I support both characters, but I see @ Logo12 's point. The tweet wasn't just informing people to vote on the Smash poll, it was, in a way, tipping the scales in Krystal's favor. Why else would he have said that he'd follow anyone that votes for Krystal? Now the poll's integrity could possibly be compromised, because some jackasses were desperate for a follow. As someone who'd like to see reliable results for once, this bothers me.

The problem is not simply that, but polls, as in all the example I listed above, got a tweet from the side and all had one thing common: Krystal then rose up, from at least 50 votes higher than the second place, or as much as 300, like in the Ultimate Poll's case. If you still cannot see why it is unfair, then there's point further talking about this lol

Also if you say you're ashamed of being a Wolf fan, then, tell me. Is it anything more proud, anything less shameful to openly attack someone else?

For the SFZ thing, it's off the point, but you're clearly reversing the antecedent and consequent, and adding some absolute wordings just because I stated a short simile. Don't know how you can pull that thing out as an argument.

Well the 1 thing changes things for me. I think it takes away the hatred for characters you really don't like when you rate your default choices a 1.

You're definitely not the only Wolf fan that doesn't like Krystal and vice versa. I've seen things we're the fanbases call each other "gay furries", but I have no idea when or why it started.

I saw BluePikmin did the updates already, but eh, I'll continue.

• Sceptile remains falling down from 19% to 18.8%, unfortunately.
• Skull Kid climbed up to the borderline with 20.2% 5 votes!
• In the 5th poll, Masked Link is the only character that met the requirement. This makes him the new bottom-borderline character, however. Also this makes his votes significantly lower than that of every others by more than a half.
  
• I removed the below-average veterans. This keeps other stuff consistent anyways.
• Black Mage made it close to a 19.4%, but like Sceptile, not enough to get on the list.
• Wolf continues to fall, now at the edge of falling past 4 in average.

Some time in my boring life, I've also spent time making the formulae messed up because I wanted to add some weird feature.

So here's a result counting only positive votes and only negative ones, for whatever reason one would want it:

It basically takes all the positive votes (or negative votes) in account, and then average them.

I'm aware that the number of votes thing really doesn't really mean a thing for now, since the max votes for one is different and the bottom choice can easily have the least number of negative votes if the total vote is like one third of that of the one who gets the second least (Wolf).

Also I'm not really sure what the positive/negative features can do, but I did it anyway so... :/

I think 3 votes should be ignored rather than counted in your negative votes, but other than that good work. I think that tweet really ruined Wolf, you could see how much it affected his rating almost immediately.
