Serena uses Chespin, Braixen and Greninja.
Blue uses Heracross, Machamp and Tyranitar.
Tate and Liza use a tagteam of Lunatone and Solrock.
Alakazam follows Sabrina.
Brock uses Geodude, Sudowodo and Kabutops.
Misty uses Togepi, Psyduck and Politoed.
Giovanni uses Meowth, Marowak and Nidoqueen.
Cynthia uses Milotic, Roserade and Garchomp.
Norman uses Spinda, Kecleon and Vigoroth.

Okay, time for the judging!

First up is @ SuperBrawler .

Positives:

+ Includes all Pokemon playable in Smash Bros.
+ Lots of iconic choices.

Negatives:
-Overabundance of Gen I.
- No Garchomp? I just found this surprising. I think he'd be among the more likely for a Pokemon fighting game.
- Not sure some of these are feasible, such as Lapra, Koffing, and Venomoth.

Neutral:

• I thought including the TPP champion team was clever.

@TORNADO BUS DRIVER is next.

+No Generation is too overpopulated.
+Some great choices.

- Too many trainers, making the roster too large. Not to mention, Looker, Todd, and Bridgette don't have Pokemon listed (though I assume Looker uses his Croagunk?)
- Sawk and Throh shouldn't be alts of each other. They use completely different fighting styles (karate and judo, respectively).
- Having Pichu, Pikachu, AND Raichu is a bit redundant.
- All of those trainers, and Cynthia + Garchomp didn't happen?

Neutral comment: Considering your name and the iconicness, I'm surprised you didn't add Croagunk or Toxicroak as an assassin character.

+ Great choices for the starters.
+ All Smash Pokemon are present.

- That's a whole lot of Electric Rodents...
- No Buizel?
- One issue with the starters...why are none of the Sinnoh starters fully evolved?

- With such a small roster, some of the choices, such as Bidoof, Cobalion, and Keldeo, are off-putting when more iconic Pokemon were overlooked, such as Gengar, Alakazam, Ursaring, and Excadrill.

Over all, this was tough. What was good on one roster was missing from the others, and vice versa. When looking at this, I was looking to see mainly these:

• Is the Brawl Pokemon roster intact?
• Mewtwo?
• Generational Diversity?
• Iconic Pokemon?

Considering this, I feel the poster who did this the best was @ SmasherMaster . Congratulations!



(Also shame on you all for excluding poor Ursaring. )

For first gen, I just like Snorlax and Meowth. It is kind of odd, though. I have three normal types.
