I want to see that ship, and more importantly, Sylux itself, in glorious HD. I bet it'd look amazing if it were in pre-rendered cutscenes as well. Not saying Metroid needs those, granted, but they did look good in Other M. If the NX is powerful like the XBox One or PS4, though, maybe they won't need pre-rendered cutscenes (like Batman Arkham Knight. They ditched pre-rendered cutscenes because the in-game engine was so good that they simply don't need them). Personally, I also wonder if the "Prime style" games will stick with Samus' "Prime" design, or if they'll follow her looks in the classic games. The "Prime" design fits better with the art direction of the "Prime" series, though, so it'd probably be best to stick with it.
I had this ludicrous idea that Nintendo, out of nowhere, decided to separate the Prime and classic style games into separate universes, like an alternate timeline or dimension like that of those in DC or Marvel comics, if you will. Like, the Prime series would have references to events that transpired in the classic games, just like the original Prime talked about the events of the original Metroid in research logs, but otherwise the games, especially the classic series, would keep to themselves.
This idea mainly sparked from Federation Force's "4-Player co-op missions in the Metroid Prime universe" line. I know, I know, I sound crazy. It was kind of a dream of sorts. But the odd part is, I could see them doing it for some reason...
I have to say, though... "Samus Prime" has a nice ring to it...
