They obviously didn't have time to implement Mewtwo in Brawl, so they are passing on the planned changes to SSB4. No need to be a patronising arsehole!

I dont think they had many big changes in mind at all. It was simply not enough time to get him in there, seemingly he was a lower priority character (possibly because Sakurai thought Lucario filled some of the void left by Mewtwo?). And my first post was a harmless joke, no need to get so stingy and personal about it... Anyways, lets just hope he returns. Cause Lucario or not, I still miss Mewtwo!

Sure, I'll take a swing at this.

I think the characters revealed at E3 will be Palutena, Chrom, Ike, Wario and/or Metaknight, and Pac-Man. Palutena will be revealed through a standard newcomer trailer while Chrom and Ike are revealed in a dual trailer in the same way that Charizard and Greninja were. Pac-Man will also have a separate trailer that will be at the end of the other two or shown as a surprise after the initial presentation. Meanwhile, Wario and/or Metaknight will be shown in a 10-15 minute Developer Direct and, during this Direct, Sakurai will reveal that every character has at least one ALT, showcasing Wario in his standard wear (just like in Brawl) and/ or Metaknight as Galacta Knight before showing a brief montage of other costumes for other characters.

I'm absolutely positive Mewtwo and Palutena will be revealed at E3, and, if he's actually in the game, Ridley.
Considering how close the game is to release, though, it could be that any one of those characters are revealed in June.

I got some scenarios for characters in my opinion

Ridley (this is in the west and it's even bigger event thats smash direct and one of the days of E3 might be simular)

Mewtwo (most requested character and he was hinted in the greninja trailer)

Pac-man (3rd party character and if pac-man is confirmed playable the game will make history due to 4 most known characters being playable)

Palutena (unmask her because of the troll last time)

1-There's a white space at the right of the Roster
2-Chrom's japanese name is Krom
3-"Ice Climbers" in japanese has always been "Ice Climber"
4-Isn't it weird that there's one Newcomer yet to be revealed?
5-Ganodorf's and Jiggs' icons
6-Same number as Brawl, could easily be a mod skin for it, there's also the fact that the franchise are horizontally making it be displayed the same way as in Brawl(4x10 with random)

Along with some veterans and a couple of newcomer surprises revealed. I would like to see a new Metroid, a Re-make of Super Mario RPG legend of the Seven Stars or a new sequel whichever. Star Fox, F-Zero. Any of those would be nice.

Just a quick note - I don't know how much anyone has thought about this but can you imagine how amazing it would be if Sakurai announces that all of the characters we've seen thus far are just starters? Sure we've discussed if that's a possibility or not, but we haven't discussed the fact that it could be the single greatest news we'd ever get until launch and that we'd be so, so hyped.

Going off of that, I think we'll get maybe three more characters at E3 and then Sakurai announces that everyone thus far is a starter and that we'll find out who the unlockables are right before this comes out in the summer.

Would be an amazing announcement and I think it's rather likely.

Well pac-mans chances of being revealed at E3 got some support because I'm blown away remember pac-man ghostly adventures for the wii u and 3ds ...well less than a year and they already announced a sequel to that
