I come bearing more pretty gifts...
I could never get that stuff to work... and I need it to, to make my stage for Ridley.

Actually most of Brawl's text is Times New Roman. Impact is very close, though.
I find that Georgia bolded works perfectly for CSS icon names.

i think that razanak guy said something about trying to port his meta ridley work to olimar when he finished his alloy version
ohai d00dz.

Enjoy that icon, it took all of my spriting skills to make.

I'm scrapping the Alloy version and skipping right to Olimar. Model and textures work, portrait is done, CSS icon is done, battle portrait is done, and names are done. I also got his SSE portrait and name working fine. The only thing that doesn't work right now is his Tourney name, his in-battle name, in-battle and after battle franchise icon, and stock icon. Other than that, all systems are go.

Nice icon!

Good to hear Ridley's coming along well, and that he works on Olimar. Do the 'all systems' that are go include his moves and animations? If so, that's rockin'. And I'd still be up for helping with PSA where you might need it.

@SqLeon: No, I don't believe Dant ever uploaded it.

I haven't tried the animations yet, but they should work. And I have a strong feeling that your help will be needed, especially regarding his smashes.

I've been working on making dream land from ssb and here's what i've got so far:
I deleted all reference of the the 2 side blocks
(somewhat)fixed the spawn points to where they don't fall out of the air and die
made the main part of the stage's edge grab able
and removed the blocks
But what i need help is to get rid of the polygons and fix the spawn points so i can finish
Here's the file:
File
Help/feedback would be appreciated

This isn't much, just something I did on a whim. Captain Falcon with Ganon's AI. He actually fights you now, and if you're playing Brawl+, you might wanna think twice of taking him lightly. He's not amazingly hard or anything like that, but he can give you a good challenge if he has the opportunity. :3

http://www.mediafire.com/?z2nkjm2yyty

Now to try this out with Onslaught Falcon... XD

Edit: Hmm...I think I just might take back what I said about him being more challenging. He's smarter and doesn't kill himself...much, but definitely still easy. Onslaught Falcon is actually easier to beat.

...Then again, I'm using Ike. XD

Edit2: NEVERMIND! I just got lucky. Onslaught Falcon showed me his moves with no sympathy just now. X_x;

The two side platforms of the stage are part of the same polygon as the main platform. They might not be removable.

Cool! What directory do you put the file in?

Also, I can't find how to do that... which files do you edit in mu_menumain?
To edit the menu you have to edit...
In mumenumain-->MiscData[3]-->AnmClr(NW4R)-->MenMainBg_TopN-->(the sub files)

Tried it, no go. I'll stick with C&P individual letters from character names. Still, times new roman bolded and embossed works the best as an alternative.

Doesn't work for me. Stage loads fine, but tons of textures are missing and the game chugs along at one or two frames per second.

Alright boy and (supposedly) girls. Here it is. Before you go all download happy, here is the list of what is what, and notes regarding specific stages.

There's also a zip for those of you who don't feel like downloading one stage at a time

Also, since it has Pokemon Stadiums data, it treats your characters hair/hats/things that move like there is wind blowing from underneath) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/darkplasma22/al_091208_1242binout.jpg

-Y-Entrance to the Ruins (Had to remake cause the one posted months ago had the Training Room's collision data) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/darkplasma22/194164.jpg
-Z-Falcon Flyer (Couldnt change anything without breaking the animation. The blast zones are acceptable, but I really wish we could find out what is breaking them.)

Some stages here, you will find do NOT have perfect spawn points, for the simple fact that their data is misrepresented in Brawlwall (either by design, or because of BrawlWall). This means that Brawlwall said spawn points and camera limits were "here" and when you play on the stage it is "there" and not where its supposed to be. It is because of stages (plural) like that that this took so long to make.
I'd like to point out that all collision data in Brawlwall is represented correctly, it was everything else that was sometimes wrong. Again, don't know if its the program doing that or how the stages were made.

I cannot guarantee that Pokemon Trainer will work on any of these stages. I dont know how his data works. I tried to import it into stages that didn't seem to have him, to no avail. If somebody could let me know how that works, or what file is responsible for his placement, that'd be super.

IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH A STAGE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WILL FIX IT.

I don't know why, but I'm fascinated with stage hacks that are just different lighting.

... That being said, I need a nighttime Castle Siege. Can anyone hook me up? Or at least describe how to do it. Only the first level is needed.

Well, here's a preview of the new stage I'm working on:

I started it last week, but I was waiting to finish it until the new version of Brawlbox came out, which was released today. I'm still working on the collision data and I'm probably going to change the background.

Now, can someone clarify to me the rules in the new announcement? It says you're not supposed to make an individual thread for your own stuff, which is why my old one got locked. But it also says you can post your stuff for download and get feedback on it, and that you can keep all your stuff in a single new thread, which I thought was what I was doing. If that's not allowed, then why do we have an entire forum which seems to serve the same purpose as this single thread?

It is kind of unclear. I believe he means you can have one thread to showcase everything you create. When he said no individual threads, he meant no threads for individual creations of yours.

Like, if you have 5 textures, make one thread and put all of them into it, not 5 separate threads.

If you were planning on making your thread a compilation for all of your textures, message one of the mods and inform them.

I think this could be done by swapping or editing the lighting settings of the level... I'll give it a quick try for you. :)

EDIT: Turns out that some of the darkest levels in the game end up giving you a brighter result for some reason. You could try making the textures darker, mainly the sky/trees

I don't know if anyone has mentioned/realized this yet, but in the newest version of BrawlBox, you can edit Mr. Game & Watch's colors. Open FitGameWatch00.pac, and in the first 2 AnimationData[0] files it has his body and weapon colors respectively. I can see that the main colors are AGameWatch, but there are multiple things that all have his outline colors. I don't know what the difference is since I haven't tried it in the game yet.
Would something like this make it posible to have more than one custom texture for GAW? Or was that problem already solved?

You can only have one TEXTURED game and watch..... but if all you're doing is changing the colour, then you can have a full set.

You can edit the follow colours for each costume

-Outline
-Fill
-Weapon Outline
-Weapon Fill
-FinalSmash Outline
-FinalSmash Fill

I think that's it...

Every now and then, I fiddle around with various things in BrawlBox -- most attempts end up failing, though. For another skin I plan on making, I need to be able to swap polygons, since just modifying vertices isn't enough. So far, my first test worked -- transferring a piece of Snake's Cypher over to Jigglypuff (as sort of a headband, hee hee).

(Alternate shot, showing off the back.)

Just thought that I'd show you guys that it is possible to transfer parts between models using BrawlBox (and hex editing). Although it only works with things that have less polygons than whatever you're replacing...

Well, here's a preview of the new stage I'm working on:

*image*
Reminds me of one of Melee's Trophy Tussle stages. The brightness for it is a bit iffy, though. Try your best to fix it. :)
