Saturday: July 12, 2008 (Doubles & Singles)

Location:
6731 Main St.
Miami Lakes,FL 33014

Registration Times:
Doubles: 9:00AM - 11:30 PM(After 11:30PM you will be charged $3 late fee)
Singles: 9:00AM - Closes right before the Singles Grand Finals Begin.

Tournament Times
Doubles: Will begin at 12:00PM
Singles: After Doubles with a 10-15min Intermission.

Fees & Payouts:



  • $7 Registration fee (If ONLY Singles or Doubles)
  • $10 Registration (If entering BOTH Singles AND Doubles)
  • Pot: $20 teams ($10 Per person)
  • Pot: $10 singles
  • Pot split 70/20/10 for both Singles and Doubles
  • No money taken from pot by host.
  • ALL CASH REWARDS!

We are only accepting the first 7 Wii's. If you bring a Wii+Brawl it is:

Rules:



  • BYOC
  • Random Brackets (Notify host if you get placed in a bracket with ppl you play constantly)
    *Write down your location next to your name in order to places brackets by location*
  • Double Elimination Brackets.
  • Brawl singles And Doubles = 3 stock
  • 7 minute timer for all.
  • First stage in the set is chosen on random.
  • Loser from previous round chooses stage.(Out of the 5 neutral stages.)
    Winner chooses Charcter. Loser Chooses Character.
  • Best 2/3 (3/5 for winners/losers/grand finals)
  • ALL ITEMS OFF.


Stage Selection:



  • Neutral/Random: Battlefield, Final Destination, Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Yoshi’s Island(DS)
  • NEUTRAL STAGES ONLY.
  • No Stage banning. Seeing as there are only 5 stages to choose, and they are all neutral. (Unless both Participants Agree to Stage banning)

There are plenty of places to eat around the facility.
Pizza place right next door, Johhny rockets 25sec away walking distance, ect.
Also, Chairs are VERY limited. You can bring in chairs, Lawn chairs, Stools, Boxes, ect.
Anything you can sit on. We will move the furniture we have in order to make room for any sitting item you may bring with you.

i got chairs i should be able to bring, as in multiple.

im gonna try my hardest to make it to this!

You missed this last one =(

Ive been trying to get things runnign as best as possible =)

We had the rules and pot jsut liek this. I took 2 chairs. (A stool and Stacked Milk Crates) lmao, but Rx- appreciated the crates in the Grand finals.

Ill try and see fi i can get more. If anyone sees a lot of chairs for Sale please let me know =0

Im looking for a good deal on some folding chairs that we can stack in the back =)

Seibrik you weren't even at the last one it was awesome, and ran pretty fast for the attendance we had. You better make it to this one ;o
I'll be there, and props to junior for doing a great job running this.

Hehe, thanks man.

Luckily, the PnT staff is pretty much at my disposal during the tournaments =)
i try to let THEM run it as much as possible, and step in only to help out. But it never works that way -_-.

I was only sapposed to be a promoter. But its worked out different lol. but I have fun doing this and now i just wanna make them better. So yeah I cant find good sales on chairs on Ebay =(

I'm perfectly fine without chairs. As a matter of fact, I tend to be more comfortable standing up than sitting. I actually sometimes spend half my time pacing around my apartment!

cheapest i've seen chairs going for are about 12.99 per folding chair =/


maybe, PnT can get some sort of donation thing goin, where players donate any amount?
idk, pretty whack idea maybe, but a case of 4 chairs goes for about 53 bucks. =|
if theres a good amount of donations, pnt could have it's permanent set of chairs for players to use instead of bringing their own.

Listen to me, People only THINK they want chairs.

Almost any chair would leave players craning their necks to see the tv's.

What would be really useful are stools.

Stools would put the player high enough to see the TV without having to be looking up too high, and they might also fit more easily in between isles.

I might bring a stool of my own to the next PnT that I attend.

Rx-: Yeah, Now that I think about it people probably wont appreciate chairs, but stools may be better. Ill be going garage sale hunting soon see what I find.


FlatSoda, I'm not sure whos going to the grand opening, ill be there and Ill have 2 Wii's set up incase people wanna go by and smash.

Im finding some free Stools on Craigslist.

Waiting for a responce to see if they are still available.

Hopefully if some of you guys see some in ur area on craigslist for free/cheap you can let me know?
