Tips against a projectile spamming Link?

I think it would be time to experiment with some of the less talked about moves for this one. I'm talking about squirle's water gun. Try to fully charge a water gun and wait for the projectile spammer to begin his spamming. While dodging some of his projectiles, pay close attention to his...

Is Brawl faster than Melee without L Canceling and Wavedashing?

Brawl is indeed slower to an extent but I think it's still a bit too early to decide if that's bad or good. I think the designers, when making a new smash, wanted to decrease the low-percentage to kill moves that were more prevalent in melee (falco's drill, marth's fair to dair combo, puff's...

    Congratulations Olimar players!

I'd have to agree with Ultimatum here. It makes no sense for certain region-specific games to have to have differences in fundamental game play, especially one as internationally competitive as smash. If this were to happen, one of the copies would inevitably be considered the "official...

Who is The Best Starter of the Starters?

If I may interlope with my opinion here, I play the trainer quite a bit and change my starters based on the following criteria. 1) If I know how my opponent is going to play (technical, speed, power, camper, item-spam, ect.) I generally play the pokemon that exemplifies that trait (squirtle...

    Multiple vine whips??

I've only ever vine-whipped a person who was edge-guarding once and I wasn't able to whip again to recover so I don't think it's possible

    P Trainer dittos, Squirtle overused

I'm not sold yet. I bet it has more to do with play style and less with the pokemon themselves. Personally I start with ivy and she works pretty well against most anyone.

    Ivysaur Tether Recovery.

also this happen to me once and it should probably be checked a bit more, but if it works it could be kinda fun. I was playing against a marth who had 130+ damage from what I remember. Well he edge-hogged me and when I did my vine whip, instead of auto-sweet spotting (like it would if his body...

    stun after pokemon switch?

I could have sworn I gave that a shot, but I'll try it again when I have the chance. The fast fall sounds like a good idea. Thanks to you both.

    stun after pokemon switch?

What are you pressing to time the release? I tried to do it for a while yesterday and couldn't seem to control it. They did come out at different times every time and it almost looked random but I'm really hoping that's not the case cause that would annoy me to no end.

    Beware, Pit counters Pokemon Trainer!

The problem with switching 1 v 1 is that the switch takes way too long to compete and against a fast character like Pit, the next pokemon's going to take a beating the moment it comes out. No, I think his main problem was he wasn't changing style with his pokemon. He played everyone like they...

    Elemental strengths/weaknesses, yay or nay?

You know, I was actually thinking quite the opposite. Ivysaur seems big on the whole range thing and will probably be fought by keeping opponents away for a while. This means that the big slow charizard is going to have a constant barrage of seeds, leaves, and vines in his face while the...

    jiggly's final smash

In episode 72, The ancient puzzle of Pokémopolis, was where jigglypuff was turned huge to defeat a giant alakazam and gengar (and no, I didn't know the episode number off the top of my head, I had to look it up). I can only imagine that this is where that attack came from.
