I did this several times the other day with a friend 2v2 online. If you do it continuously you get disconnected "for idling" after about 30 seconds. Key is to let yourself come down after about 25 seconds then continue it. Another weird thing is that the opponent did this to us one, but...

This is pretty common in shooter games (Horde in Gears, Zombies in CoD:WaW, etc) and I believe Smash Melee/Brawl had something similar-you keep fighting off bots until you die. But is there any word on a 4-player Survival Mode for Wii U? Mutli-man mode I think. As simple as up to four players...

depends what he meant by "made from scratch." While I am normally skeptical of PR statements, this may be genuine. We won't know until the Wii U version comes out.

The only thing I am worried about is Online Gameplay. Brawl was plagued by lag and limited features. Street Fighter 4 had great online play-in terms of being lag-free and the user options. Now in 2014, Mario Kart 8 has a decent online set-up. No lag and you can bring a friend online. I am hoping...

We had "Melee" then "Brawl." Someone on a different site pointed out that this Smash Bros doesn't really have a single, easy name to refer to it. Is there a fan term being used for it already? Is it "Smash 4"? "Smash Wii U"?

I've had the Brawl soundtrack on my Itunes for a few years now-does Smash Wii U have more songs than Brawl did? (I haven't heard much about this)

actually the online is pretty lousy. It has only the bare minimals in With Anyone. And With Friends is terribly difficult to maintain a friend's list/FC and when you try to join it takes a moment to register their status so you end up joining a game while other people are "Waiting" not...

except that both players can have good connections, firewalls off, and not downloading during play (who would honestly do this?) and still have laggage.
