Also, smashballs take skill to use properly - they shouldn't be banned.

    Meta Knight Officially Banned!

Smashboards just shot themselves in the foot. I don't know how much the rest of you know about fighting culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in competitive racing gaming (like Mario Kart) where you can become successful by being an *******. If...

    New Smash Bros for WiiU

It should be varied above all. Have some fun ways of unlocking secrets, like for an example: Beating up a ghost in Luigi's Mansion stage will release Luigi from a portrait Finding an egg, in a hidden route in the adventure mode, unlocks Yoshi Getting a K.O of Mario within 10 second makes Wario...

    Wii/Wii U

I've been reading some spec speculation over at Beyond3D and at the moment, to sum it up, they are saying this: The difference between the Wii U and the Xbawx720/PS4 will be in terms of PC graphics the difference between minimum to high settings. They'll all probably be able to play the same...

    New Smash Bros for 3DS

You just have to make sure that you log in at least once before the deadline on the 11th of august. But yeah, 169 US dollars for a new 3DS with 20 free games. 10 of which are classic NES games and 10 of which are GBA games. You'll be able to download them in September and December. The...

    New Smash Bros for 3DS

I didn't really think of that, but I guess that might be interesting. I doubt they would go through with a completely single-player game though, for a variety of good reasons. What I expect, and wouldn't mind, is a slightly less comprehensive VS, with a lot more focus on customizable...

    New Smash Bros for WiiU

Reposting this from the 3DS thread: There are plenty of ways to differentiate between the 3DS and Wii U smash. Making Single-player the focus of the 3DS game while multi-player is the focus of the Wii U game is probably the best way to go about it. 3DS version Extensive Single-player campaign...

There are plenty of ways to differentiate between the 3DS and Wii U smash. Making Single-player the focus of the 3DS game while multi-player is the focus of the Wii U game is probably the best way to go about it. 3DS version Extensive Single-player campaign that take the best known maps...

    New Smash Bros for 3DS

The mii character is best suited for the role of the customizable character that can be uploaded to the Wii U. I mean, you could use Ditto instead but you'd lose out on fun of being able to chose any Mii character and turn them into a fighter.

    New Smash Bros for 3DS

I liked this: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=29888917&postcount=1159 3DS version should really make use of personalized characters that the player customize to their liking throughout the extensive single-player campaign (that will this time be the focus, and thus a lot better...

    New Smash Bros for 3DS

Posted in the Wii U thread as well: When it comes to online multiplayer I could see "customized" character (imported from the 3DS version or made from scratch) that use the touch screen for special moves and further customization.

    New Smash Bros for WiiU

Another idea: Local/online multiplayer Team versus Team in a huuuge map! Each team has a uMote+1-4 WiiMote players and they have to settle the score big time! The uMote player basically plays a strategy game and uses his screen (where he can scroll and see the entire map) to command...

    New Smash Bros for WiiU

So how do you think the Wii U controller will be used? When it comes to online multiplayer I could see "customized" character (imported from the 3DS version or made from scratch) that use the touch screen for special moves and further customization. Local multiplayer ideas: Players 2-4...
