Ya, I usually use the Bouncing Fish combo, but sometimes against the heavyweights I love to pressure them with the fairs. I'm not talking about Jigglypuff problems. It was happening to me against Ganondorf & Ike. I'm now a little more sympathetic to all those people posting specious changes...

I'm having a really hard time stringing together even 2 F-air's out of a non-DI'd forward throw. (Throw-Fair-fair with no jumping.) It seems like people and computers can easily air-dodge the second one. Granted I didn't test it in the previous version in training to see if it was true combo...

You could start "counterpicking" based on rank or the flip of a coin. (More like just "picking" in that first game.) Last game of the set has to be played on a neutral via a strike system. Loser getting the counterpicks every time. Fun thing is... it might add more strategy to the picking...

I come in and out of this discussion as time permits, and 300 pages are a lot to read so forgive me for this question... When is the next version coming out? And by all this large change talk it sounds like theres going to have to be a beta tested version of bbrawl2. Is this the case?

The direction of balanced brawl is a Catch 22 of sorts. Ideally, if everyone played it because, as I believe, it is better than Brawl, then you could make more dramatic changes because people would have less incentive to go back to vBrawl which not as many people play. However, +1% changes...

I'm excited to see the first tournament video with someone using this. The beauty of diddy is that with a banana he already has so many options. This is just one more.

Wave is part "what email would look like if it was created today." It's way more social and collaborative. When I got my invitations, I immediately searched [using with:public] for Smash waves. There aren't any good ones. It would be great for guides with embedded videos, great for Q&A's...
