The guy at GameStop here confirmed that we should show up Saturday at 10 to get in line if we want our copies right then and there, but they were 100% guaranteed to have our copies (this is me and my friend, I should clarify) up...

Spending Saturday with the girl and sleeping, then going for 10 to Gamestop and checking out the line. I will barely sleep after getting the game. Maybe 5 or 6 am when I go to bed?

Just wondering what are all the stores we know of that are doing midnight releases. I've heard all the gaming specific stores are doing it (GameStop, Gamecrazy, EB, Babbage's, etc.). But what about like... Toys R Us? I preordered there and I sure as hell want my game early like everybody else.

What was really misleading was that a lot of the new characters we were seeing were off the new Brawl poll, but were also present on the Melee poll. Dedede, Diddy, Meta Knight, etc. were all Melee requested characters. The only Brawl requested that were not on the Melee poll were Ike, Olimar...

I highly doubt this is all "American only" content. That's not Nintendo's style. If anything, they REMOVE stuff for America. They almost axed Marth and Roy, and remember how it took sooo long before we could get Celebi in Pokemon games? And how Crystal LOST online battling for the US game? And...

BUMP It's just amazing what we have for a game and what we could have had. I'm not complaining because "LOL NO RIDLEY" or anything, but it's a slap in the face that certain obvious and expected additions (Clefairy Pokeball, Sothe Assist, etc.) got the mighty Sakurai Axe. It's really a shame.

I've read the GCN controller is crappy simply because there's no real "analog" pressure anymore. It's all digital, since movements are now mapped for a D-pad. You have to slam down L and R, for example, rather than "lightly" press them.

I still find it shocking that we lost ATs. Duster and Sothe were confirmed by so many sources, and it wasn't just poor translation.

Andross is listed as an item and not an AT, I thought. Jugem is Lakitu, Rosetta is Rosalina, Kuriri is Jill. FYI. But that doesn't excuse the fishy goings-ons. Where the hell did Sothe go? Where's Onix? Yoshi's 2nd trophy? And are there seriously no Kid Icarus trophies other than Pit himself?

Ugh... Takamaru and Sukapon stickers but no trophies. And where is the Mewtwo trophy? That has been confirmed in a video. EDIT: Oh, ****--it's there. Guess there aren't any more trophies then :/
