In all honesty I understand why people are pissed about Lucina being a complete clone of Marth, even if I personally think she'll have something unique, like I don't know, Sakurai can make her DP different, sword dance useful and maybe Shield Breaker of Marth melee style. Complaining won't help...

IMO all these hours put into this game is mainly due because the vision of Smash by Sakurai is the game we want Smash to be. Even the Brawl roster in the end is more than fine. Sure we don't have popular guys like Ridley and Isaac, but hey I love ROB which I thought at first was the worst...

The clear lack of newcomers is surprising with E3 coming in a few months, but IIRC Sakurai said that the 3DS puts limitation to the roster. So 39 seems almost realistic.

I gotta agree with the frog there. If the slot would've been called '' Kanto Starters '' without Pkmn Trainer, this would've still be the same. It's 3 distinct characters with a switch mechanic, just like Zelda having Link, T-Link, Zelda, Sheik & Ganon. ( Or Metroid Samus & ZSS, you see the point. )
