Oh, I must have given the wrong impression. :laugh: I know YOU were being sarcastic, but I've heard Anarchy-advocates actually make points like that.

Whenever people start spouting nonsense like that, I laugh a bit inwardly to myself for the simple knowledge that 99.9999843% of the time, the person would be singing a different tune if a situation in which they were unfortunate enough to require aid were to come up.

Lately, whenever I have a waddle doo walking around, I try to see when it's charging up and then try to knock my opponent into the beam. Since it holds them still and does a nice amount of damage, it's a great way to extend combos and just add some free damage to whatever you happen to be doing...

Er. The main flaw with the OP of this topic is as follows: Game designers have no effing clue what they're doing when creating characters, let alone in Brawl. Who is better than who will never and has never been up to the game's designers, whether they try to control it or not.

I disagree. Although I'll admit I've mainly been using it against a predictable player, as long as you have a rough idea of when you'll get hit by whatever they're edgeguarding with, you can know the timing and hit Up+B at the right time fairly consistently.

Dunno if this is already known, but I've been using a physics glitch with Up+B to recover. Basically, it seems that in the frames of startup before the super armor kicks in, getting hit out of up+B will shoot Dedede upwards without losing him his jumps. It's like super duper smash DI or...

There's also the my-first-sentinel effect.
