Zero Suit Samus' potential

How much do you think it's possible that Zero Suit Samus can become a very powerful all-around character, considering she has a few moves that looked like Sheik's, a blaster, AND a whip which could be a disjointed hitbox?

If we could actually USE her, she might be powerful. But as it stands now, you'll see her in casual gaming only, unless tournaments allow items(smash ball). O.o

I'm hoping you can just hold A at the start of the match and Samus suit comes off; otherwise it seems like a waste of a character to only be avaliable as a result of the Final Smash.
