Zenyou AMA: "I can't let these bad experiences determine who I am...losses are a part of growing."

The bi-weekly Smashboards Ask Me Anything (AMA) series is back! Every 2 weeks, we ask players questions directed to them by users of the Smash Bros. subreddit.

For this iteration, we talk to SoCal's own Dustin "Zenyou" Rice, one of the most prominent Smash Wii U Mario specialists. In the video below, Zenyou goes over the Mario vs Sonic & Yoshi match-up, his mentality during Genesis 4, his thoughts on Gonzalo "ZeRo" Barrios, insightful advice for players who are new to Smash and want to get better, and this thoughts on what character he thinks has the potential to win a supermajor?

Zenyou is a smasher from Porter Ranch, California who is considered to be one of the best Smash 4 Mario players in the world, behind Elliot "Ally" Carroza-Oyarce and Jason "ANTi" Bates. Zenyou is also known to have the most potent punish and combo games out of many Mario players, surpassing those of other Mario mains. His punish game often consists of very extensive combos, which employ the use of perfect pivots, while also often leading into one of Mario's finishers for an early KO.
