Zelda's char. select screen options

with all the new leakage out, i noticed that zelda"s character select box looked similar to pokemon trainers where you can choose which pokemon you start with. does anyone know if this is also true with the box that zelda and sheik share? thanks in advance.

It's true, you select to start with either Zelda or Sheik at that point, like PT.

This was probably done due to the variety of modes.

With things like the various online modes, its simpler to have the character choosing at the selection screen than at the load screen (even ZSS which is done by button press instead of portrait click is done at the Char select, as it'll display if you did it right at the stage select).
