Z for aerials (and L-canceling)

I have a habit of using Z to do my aerials and to L-cancel. I've been wanting to learn Fox and wanted to know if I should stop using Z and try using other ways of doing this. I'm really looking forward to learning Fox and don't want to screw up! Thanks for the help!

Z is very good for l-canceling because it doesn't mess up techs. I don't think doing both aerials and cancels with z limits you if you are comfortable with it. Though for some cases I recommend using c-stick for aerial, for example it's impossible to do full speed advancing bair without c-stick.

Thanks! I've known about full speed advancing bairs using the c-stick since they are useful with Falcon as well, so it's good I'm used to that!
