Hope keeps on going

Who Is This Bland Looking Guy?

Makoto Naegi is the main protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Lets start off with some backstory; Makoto Is a student of the prestigious Hopes Peak Academy, a high-school school for talented students. The requirements to get into the school are to be the best at what you and to be already enrolled in high-school. Though... Makoto's situation is a bit different from everyone else's as he is an Ultimate(or super-duper high-school level if you perfer)Lucky Student. Lucky students are chosen by lottery instead of being chosen by talent, Makoto just so happened to win the lottery and was accepted into his dream school. He stands at the gates ready to take on any challenge thrown at him, but his determination is quickly diminished as he walks into the entrance hall and loses consciousness, waking up in a class room. this is where the game begins. He soon meets his classmates but the warm greetings end when the main antagonist Monokuma starts a killing game between the classmates.

I know who this guy is now, but what exactly does he do?

The main game play kicks in after a student is murdered, after a murder you will be able to investigate, next comes the part where this character really shines, the class trial. In class trials you will try to find the killer of your fallen class mate.
the main game-play revolves around shooting and down words to try and find lies, misunderstandings, and contradictions in other's statements. there are also minigames during trials to help you understand certain points, now i could go on and on about specifics but the class trials are better enjoyed blind.

So why does he belong in smash?

Danganronpa: THH(by Spike Chunsoft) was from what a researched, a big influence in japan selling over 25k copies in its first week making the play station portable game of week in Japan and over 85k after 3 months it pleased the CEO of spike chunsoft Mitsutoshi Sakurai. When released in america and europe on Steam the first and second game sold over 200,000k copies combined. though sells arent everything, the game getting at the very least an 8 from video game review sites like metacritic and in my personal opinion its one of the best games i've ever played. a representative from the game would be brilliant though some think he is kind of a blank canvas, he has a great sense of justice and is a caring person, mostly preferring to talk things out instead of fighting.

So you've proved his worth, but what exactly would his moveset and costumes look like?

Here comes the fun part, lets start with costumes

I was thinking of Makoto being a character like bowser jr., having different characters for his costumes.

Slot 1: Makoto of course

Costume 2: The protagonist of the second game, Hajime Hinata

Costume 3: Lucky Student, Nagito Komaeda

Costume 4: Makoto's younger sister the protagonist of the 3rd game, Komaru Naegi

Costume 5: Komaru's trusty sidekick, Fukawa

Costume 6: The heroine of the 4th game, Keade Akamatsu

Costume 7: Kaede's pal Shuichi Saihara

Costume 8: Finally the ultimate robot with a great sense of hope, K1B0 or Kiibo

(i like to call this group of characters the "ahogang" for reasons)

(also im working on the moveset ill update the post as i go along)
