What do you think was your best tournament? If someone asked you, "What was the best set you ever played" what tournament would you point to? In other words, which tournament were you at the top of your game and feeling fantastic about the way you played? If you have a video of a set that you feel showcases this awesome level of play from your best personal performance in a tournament please please PLEASE put a link up.

This was probably my best tournament.

Of my most recent videos, this was probably my best set that got recorded. I don't feel like I've ever really had a close set where I felt like I was playing good though. lol I either play good and win pretty easily, or I play awful and barely lose or get totally destroyed.

I eeked out a split in a best of two pools set against Zelgadis.

Yes, it was a long time ago. And it's kind of a pathetic "accomplishment", but there it is.

This was for 7th place : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkdOHh3D5sY

It was a bit odd of a set, since we both come from the same town in France, with only one other player with us, while the rest of the frenchies are quite far away from us.

Having travelled this far (to Denmark) and gotten that far into the tournament, we decided to play for the crowd more so than anything else, since one of us would advance anyway.

Well, we ended up playing the hypest set in the tournament. Crowd was going wild.

Also, commentary by Leffen/Fuzzyness, and you can catch glimpses of other players on the mic too.

this

don't think i've ever had an "easy" pool or bracket tho...

i have had a few "fair" pools that i should've made it out of, but didn't due to bad mindset/ bad counterpicks...

but hey hindsight is 20/20

Tough question, i think i am most proud of placing 17th at the most recent ROM. Off the top of my head i cant think of my best set. I also really like some small tourney i went to last year b/c it was the first tourney i ever won. It wasn't a important tourney and the level of skill was relatively low but i felt proud winning

Hmm, at one of the Toronto Monthlies I grabbed 3rd seed in a 6 person pool(top 4 made it out). Got knocked out first round though, bracket was weird.

Also, at the locals I host, the December edition I got 9th/20 people, should have made it further but I lost both winners and losers sets 2-1 after taking the first game.
