Oh yea, I went there, big time. HAHAHAHA, what? Don't know the Jack? FACE!

It's not that big of a surprise really, the guy has only appeared in two games, and they were preety much overlooked. Those however, who did get a chance to play the game, were introduced to one challenging game that goes down in history as one of the toughest games to date. That is opinion though, as some people are better than others at certain games. If you want to play the game, it is out on the virtual console (the sequel to the original Bomb Jack, Mighty Bomb Jack that is, is out for it, the other is not) in the NES section. Do yourself a favor and get it. Great game, very tough.

I was recently playing the game a few days back, and that little tidbit of obscure characters having a chance to be renowned in Brawl went through my mind. Usually, I wouldn't be supporting MBJ, but I figured, might as well, as I have not seen any threads about him at all.

So who IS Mighty Bomb Jack? He is a hero who collects bombs and navigates through a 16 level pyramid in search to defeat the vile Beezlebut (seriously, that is his name, not a goofup on typing) all the while trying to get to the royal Pamera family to rescue them.

Now, what makes him fun to support, is how unlikely he is, but not illogical. MBJ does not have any fighting prowess shown in the game, but I have stated that many times, Sakurai and Co. can make it work, they have done it with many characters before. So how on earth does a character who collects bombs in a pyramid have any chance of standing toe to toe with our other Brawlers? The answer is simple;

-He is an oddball like the rest of them.

That's all there is to it. I don't really need to go indepth with a whole lot of points, as I will leave the door wide open for people to debate with me so I can just shoot them down later on, It's how I am. =P

Oh, a moveset you ask? Sure, why not.

Note, I ain't into the whole, "moveset" thing, so this is my first stab at it.

*Personal Character Quirk: MBJ is renowned for his insanely high jumps. This would be his quirk, I will go indepth on it later.

Character Scale: About as tall as Ness
Weight:About as much as Pikachu
Air type: Floaty
Speedikachu fast
Colored Spandex?: You betcha

Regular Moves:
Regular A: Jab
A,A: Jab, Hook
A,A,A: Jab, Hook, Quick Headbutt
Right Tilt A: Body Kick
Up Tilt A: Sweeping Headbutt (Toss your head back to get a clear idea of what I am describing)
Down Tilt A: Bomb Kick (A kick with an explosive property)
Left Tilt A: Body Kick

Smashes:
Right Smash A: Bomb Shove (As you charge the smash, the bomb in his hand sizzles, the longer you hold it, the stronger it gets)
Up Smash A: Bomb Uppercut (Thrusts fist straight into the air, has a 25% chance of exploding upon impact)
Down Smash A: Stomping Barrage (When you charge it up, if the enemy is close enough, MBJ gets them trapped within the power of his mighty boots, and stomps them like mad, works sort of similar likes peaches Down Smash)
Left Smash A: Bomb Shove

Aerials:
Nair: Flying Jab
Fair: Dropkick
UAir: Cresent swipe (sweeps arm above him)
Dair: Falling Headbutt
Bair: Backfist

B Smashes:
B: Bomb Charge (about as effecting as links bombs, only if you hold B for a while, the bombs grow. You will be stationery when you do this move. the bigger they are, the higher the damage. However, takes a little while. Let go of B to keep the bomb you already have.)
Right B: Cherry Bomb Toss (You can not do this if you already have Bomb Charge activated. A quick projectile to keep them at bay. You only will be able to do this once you have taken a bomb out with bomb charge.)
Down B: Bomb fall (Flies straight into the air, and comes down hard, the ground quaking. Explosive property.)
Left B: BomberSault (Performs a somersault, very destructive, but about as much knock back as C Falcons air-hump thingy---I forgot the official name! XD)
Up B: Final Lunge (A REALLY high burst into the air, obvious third jump, but is strong enough to keep people from trying anything foolish. His fist will burn with the rage of his bombly powers, giving them quite a whallop if it connects)

Jumps:
Single Jump: A very floaty jump, about as high as kirby after two succesful leaps.
Double Jump: A very floaty jump, about as high as kirby after four succesful leaps. You can glide if you hold the jump button at the end of the second jump.
Third Jump: UpB

Throws:
Z: Lunges for them, nothing special
Regular A: Whacks them with his head
Up A: Throws them above, nothing flashy
Down A: Throws them down and elbow drops them
Right A: Headbutts them and reaches down to their feet, grabbing them and swinging them, tossing them in an arc.
Left A: tosses a bomb at them and roundhouse kicks it, making a small explosion.

Final Smash: Bombing Bonanza!

MBJ performs a massive combo, followed by a grab and a lift off into the air. He tosses them down towards the ground, manifesting a bomb while this is going on. This bomb is huge. Think Four Sword Adventures, the mega bomb. He tosses it down, and among the explosion, he rains down 20 or so bombs, finishing off with a crazy dash down at the oppenent, two bombs in hand, doing a kamikaze like explosion, minimal damage to himself.

I didn't bother with %'s Cause I seen no real need to do so. Use your imagination.

So that's it, feel free to argue with me if you want, I don't really care. =P

^^^But Bomb Jack is second party unlike Bomberman, so he wouldn't replace Bomberman if that's what you are implying...

They are not vying for the same spot in other words.

For some reason I don't see any really classic characters in brawl, especially ones that most new gen people dont know about

Sakurai stated that he would like to include more obscure characters in Brawl.

Current gen however is kept up-to-date on him, seeing as how he is, y'know, on the VC....

No excuse. =P

He's third party too, via Tecmo. If Tecmo got a rep, it would probably be Ryu Hayabusa.

A brave soul you are for starting this thread, I don't usually completely claim a character to not have any appearance what so ever in brawl (Sticker being the lowest form a character can appear as in brawl) but his inclusion is a definite no...

I'd rather have Bomberman (and I'm not talking about the long-legged one).

Though, it would be funny to see this very obscure guy appear in Brawl.
