Yoshi's Island (Brawl) Freezing

I've made a music pack. I modified the song lists for the bottom two rows of stages.
I use Brawl Stage Manager.
Whenever I try to change how often songs appear for Yoshi's Island (Brawl), the screen shifts right and freezes. I was able to adjust the song frequencies for the other 13 stages. Furthermore, Yoshi's Island (Brawl) froze when it was randomly selected for a match. Also, E07's box for the song name is grayed out in Stage Manager. I figured that perhaps I shouldn't have put a song there, so I deleted it and saved, but that didn't fix the issue. Does anyone know what may be causing the game to freeze whenever Yoshi's Island (Brawl) is selected?

E07 doesn't have a name slot, as it's just the winter variant of obstacle course.

As for the freezing, have you by chance edited the song titles of the tracks on the stage? If you use a character the game doesn't recognize, such as Σ for example, it'll freeze trying to display the titles.

Thank you. The degree sign was the culprit. By any chance, do you know how to get é in game? The émo in Pokémon becomes some Japanese? character when displayed in game.

hmmm, the game should already recognize that symbol. I believe I've encountered a problem like this with the Metal Gear Solid theme of love, as it uses special characters to generate a certain symbol (same with zero two's theme as seen here and here)

Try copying the name "Pokémon" from a different stage name and pasting it over your new slot.

Thanks. I'll try copying Pokémon from PS1 and let you know what happens.

edit: @ Xermo Xermo I copied what Stage Manager had for Pokémon into my songs, and it worked.
Pokémon becomes Pokémon in game. I'm thinking the character sets/coding for the computer and the game are different. Thanks for all your help.
