Yoshi's Dair is literally a broken mess

So, why isn't Yoshi s tier besides his recovery? I mean, he has the best down air in the game! I mean, you literally do 50+% with just a sweetspot. And even if you don't get a sweetspot, you still do over 30%! And it also counts as a semi-spike, I mean, what's the deal with his dair?

Like all the drills (but especially this one) it's extremely easy to DI out of, so it's unlikely that you land all of those hits. I think the best use it has is for breaking shields, since you can't DI while in your shield, but even that is redundant when he already has DJC nair which breaks shields easily

It's a pretty good move though. Yoshi isn't S tier, but he's up there, and is improving as everyone gets better at the game
