In my opinion Yoshi is not that bad. Sure he has alot of bad qualities, but do you think that maybe Yoshi can actually be the best character in the game? Their has to be a reason why he has so many flaws. He can be just like Olimar and Snake at first glance hard to use, but can really smash in the hands of a pro.

No, I don't think he can actually be the best character in the game unless there's some currently undiscovered glitch that gives him a huge advantage.

The reason he has so many flaws is that Sakurai has failed at making a balanced game. Not that he can be really blamed since he wasn't trying to, but that's why.

well if you think about most of the DOJO pics of Yoshi, he gets hit. Also he can't eat items. C'mon, Yoshi? how can he forget about Yoshi's big eating habit? Also no new colours. Maybe that is a hint of him hating Yoshi (then why is he doing something for nintendo?) :p

Right here, not quite now
If there were no Yoshis, Mario would be PUSHING UP THE DAISIES. By the way, Mario should be more thoughtful towards the little dinosaur.

Conclusion: Everybody likes Yoshi, except for Mario, who doesn't give a crap.

No, really. Sakurai doesn't hate Yoshi. He was really good in SSB64.

If Mario doesn't give a crap, then Maybe Yoshi should just have let him to die when Mario was just a little baby. Plus, wouldn't you have thought that his annoying crying would make Yoshi kill him?

Hmmm i guess there are two sides to the argument whether yoshi is important and i agree with Frown i dont think Mario likes Yoshi, but he should be more appreciative of yoshi. Plus yoshi gets all the girls XD

I agree I have been using Yoshi since the N64 version and I haven't ever found him bad I think he one of the best because he is very unique like you said snake and olimar.

Snake is not hard to use...at all. Olimar kinda is do to the gimping problem.
Well when i said that i meant to noob standards or beginners standards. A person who is new to smash would most likely go for a fast character and snake is by no means fast.

I had never thought of this before, but yeah -- if Wario can eat items, egg lay should be able to swallow them (Or if it's a shell hold it in his mouth and then spit it back out!!!11)

Snake isn't any easy charcter to use. Since he is slow, you need to know how to control the battle. You need to know how to control the stage with your mines and C4. Snake is probably one of the hardest charcters to learn how to master, but once you master him, he is one of the strongest characters in the game.

Also Snake's recovery is as easily gimped as Olimar's. All you need to do is grab Snake while he is recoverying and he can't use his UpB again.

I really wouldn't say there is a character that is better than another in brawl. In melee and in 64, heck yeah. But in brawl I think it all depends on how you play your char, because there can be so many different playstyles because of brawls physics. Only chars that seriously might be better IMO are IC, Snake, Wolf, and G&W cause of their brokeness. I do know some broken Yoshi players too.

Well he isn't the easiest...MK, all I know is all I have to do when using snake is get them to 100 with miscellaneous attacks, sheild then uptilt...dead

Yeah I've gimped a few snakes that way, sometimes the really good ones will C4 recover (unless it's on the stage then they're screwed), but yeah they usually recover up high as to insure this doesn't happen

You people have to realize that Yoshi has not one good matchup >_> lol
Hmmm, Olimar and....yeah olimar that's about it
