Major differences between Omega Stages is whether or not you have angles or walls.

Yoshi never wants the walls. Walls eat eggs when you're too close. He can't wall jump, having walls skews the MU in favor of every other character practically. Walls offer more 'un-techable' stage spike potential, but Yoshi doesn't have a tremendous amount of power to blast opponents into walls.

Yoshi wants the angles. If you run off > B-air into unsuspecting foe, the trajectory WILL hit the corner of the ledge. You can even DRAG opponents down to an angle where they will hit the corner of the ledge thanks to the recent change in B-air's SDI modifier. So then they miss their tech and you kill them at 40%.

Something like Lylat is not as good as proper angles like Rainbow Road. B-air works with angles like that is the intended purpose of the move.

The presence of Omega stages is very bad for Yoshi because wall jumps buff every other character. Yoshi rarely needs to recover bellow the ledge and has super armor, so he is not as afraid of angled stage-spikes, but more so because of the former.

edit - I might be understimating Lylat. The correct answer might be Lylat, but I'm not sure or able to test. It depends on if Yoshi can U-air through the stage.

Disregarding stage spikes, rising u-air make a good case for angles over walls.
