i need help. Grandeza and mojo man say i have an amazing yoshi its just i suicide too much. Any tips?
First off, how is it that you suicide most of the time?

I can tell you this...

1. Work on egg toss recovery. A friend of mine tried using Yoshi and liked him but couldn't recover with eggs at all. Sometime I will accidentally Egg Roll while off the edge, which generally leads to death.

2. Careful with the Yoshi Bomb. Sometimes I'll be hit off the edge just as a I launch one and the weird buffering system in the game will cause me to Yoshi Bomb to my doom.

3. Careful with the Egg Roll. Seriously. If you're killing yourself a lot with it, avoid using it entirely or practice controlling it. It is a decently useful attack so practicing is recommended.

4. Save your double jump until you REALLY need it. If you get knocked far off the edge, try to Egg Toss your way back before DJing.

5. While edgeguarding, DJ after attacking or do a rising aerial and aim for the stage. Those are safe ways to hit people off the edge and still recover.

Hope that helps.

Right here, not quite now
1. DO NOT use the down B while the enemy is on the ground. He will shield and you will be grabbed.
2. Don't use the egg lay.
3. Practice the egg roll and make sure not to commit suicide.

#2 is really bad advice. Egg lay is good, just situational, and how is an aerial grab with little lag not useful. Since u cant really attack shields in this game except with a bair, an aerial grab is important.

Just another day.
1. Take off tap jump. You'll have your DJ when you get to more pressuring moments.

2. Don't use DownB onto the legde alot. It's good to use it a few times, but too much and they'll edgehog you to your death.

3. Be careful when you're under your opponent off the stage, you can get footstooled easily.

4. Use your DJ, then a aerial.

5. If you ECE, taking off tap jump will make you better. Plus, you need to make sure that you don't go into the egg roll.

6. Don't have the egg roll go all the way to the end of the stage. Too much of a risk if you time the turn wrong.

7. We would liike to know how you're SDing. If you don't give us enough info, then we can't give that specific solution to certain problems.

8. Frown, egg lay is very useful. If most opponents think that you're going to do a B-air, they'll end up shielding (good for a DJC egg lay). You can't abuse the move though.
