[Champion Red]

So after much deliberation I finally decided to make an account here.
I've been playing Smash since as long as I can remember (considering I'm 17). In fact, my first game was Smash (and Super Mario 64). Only about a year ago I had the urge to build on my tech skill which I did. I only play Project M since I could never go back to Brawl after playing PM. I'm a huge fan of Pokemon but always end up maining Marth in every game.

Other than the Smash stuff, here's a bit about me I guess. Like mentioned earlier, I'm 17. I live in Toronto so yeah... Huge fan of anime and I consider Nardo and all the HST (except OP) to be complete and utter garbage. OP is decent I guess...

Other than that, I can't really think of anything so... yeah... Hi.

Ah, your username and and avatar bring back memories. If I had Top 5 Pokemon memories, fighting Red on top of Mt. Silver after the "..." introduction would easily make the list.

Welcome top the boards! Super Mario 64 has many memories in this boy here. Especially the Yoshi on top of the castle when you get all the stars. Also nice to see another P:M player!

And Hokori the only thing better than that was the boss music and seeing that level 88 Pikachu while my Poke's were only in the 60s!

I remember being so young but so good at the game that my older cousins would call me over to get certain stars that they couldn't get. A masterpiece that game was...

And yeah, the music was great! Too much nostalgia, wow. I had to try fighting him again because he was soooo far ahead of the Elite 4. The gap between him and everyone else was crazy.

Love your avatar and sig by the way. Represents my favorite Nintendo franchise, and then you represent Fox, Falco and Wolf as mains representing Star Fox. Good, good!

Thank you! I main Roy in P:M which is why the avatar is like that. Lucina was amazing in Awakening and I kinda want to replay it just for her! And how could one not love Star Fox? Many hours played on the 64 trying to get all those blasted medals and Hard Mode runs! I still pick up Falco and Wolf from time to time in P:M for some goold old fashioned fun.

Yeah, that was why Heart Gold/Soul Silver are one of my favorite Pokemon games.

Wow, the same thing happened to me. My older cousin couldn't get some of the stars so he would constantly call me over.

I love the music so much, it's the only song set to PS2 in my PM. So everytime I play PS2, I have that amazing theme playing.

I actually agree with you there. But the theme for my avatars has always been representing badass female characters

And yeah, Roy in PM is too much fun. He's my PM main, Marth in Melee and Ike in Brawl. Yes, I love Fire Emblem very much

Wow that's cool. Have you done an avatar for Shinobu from the Monogatari series? Her adult form is pretty badass imo :D

One thing I've noticed it as everybody that has posted in my thread including me mains a FE character in PM. :O

I haven't done it yet, but I already have her lined up to use at a later time. Everyone gets at least a week minimum - I've been on Mikasa for maybe 3-4 days now?

And it's because we're awesome. If you main a Fire Emblem character/are a fan of the series, you're automatically cool in my book

I've actually only done two so far. I've been using Lucina for different avatars for the longest because I'm really supporting her inclusion for Smash 4. But I've got things lined up already for future avatars and sigs so it's all good.

As for a main in Smash 4, it's currently Ike since he's my favorite lord, but I'm willing to co-main if Lucina or Robin/Avatar/Tactician makes it into the game. Them, or Shulk, since I love Xenoblade Chronicles as well. Chrom is my least desired for an FE newcomer since he doesn't exactly bring anything new to the table, but I still like the guy and I'm interested to see how he'd turn out, assuming he makes the final roster.

Ah. Well I'll be happy to explain.

Ike was "scrawny" in Brawl because it was based on his Path of Radiance design (first game Ike appeared in) when he was still an adolescent, 17 years old. Ike is much more built in SSB4 because it's based off of his Radiant Dawn design (second game Ike appeared in) when he was an adult, at 20 years old. As for the flames, yes, Ike is known as the "Hero of the Blue Flames", but Ragnell (his sword) nor Ike have any fire power. He received abilities for a period after being blessed by a goddess by the name of Yune. Granted, his Eruption attack in Brawl was red rather than blue (like they corrected in Project M), this was probably because it was based off of a fire magic spell known as Bolganone. That, and his Eruption attack was probably meant for Roy, who's data was found in leftover SSBB data, but eh, that's another story.

It's nice to know that we have a similar taste for characters though.

I've seen the Haruhi movie. It is extremely good. Just the beginning is a little slow.
