Welcome to the boards! One thing I would suggest you do is try and change your MO. When I perform very poorly, I usually have a thought or two in my head that goes "I stink", but I usually change that to "This person is better than me, so I should practice to get better". Almost everyone starts out pretty bad at a game, and practice is key to overcoming that. Try joining Anther's Ladder (https://www.smashladder.com/), and practicing against other players. When you're done fighting, ask them for suggestions on how you can improve your play (usually for me, it's things about mobility and spacing). It might take a little bit of time, but someday you'll be great at Smash.
