Well,Yggdra Union,the sRPG follow up to the GBA RPG,Riviera THE promise land,is being remade for the PSP,just liek Riviera before it.
Anyone else excited about it?
I've beaten the GBA version maybe 4 times,and its just to much fun.
The game is being remade for the PSP with voice overs,new characters,new battle moves(cards),and new maps.
Yggdra Union has the most unique battle system I've seen in an sRPG,the only thing is that in the begining,it seems like FE,with Swords > Axe's etc,however,other weapons are introduced,like Bows,Scythes,Rods,books etc,to keep it from begin TO similar.
Instead of,"you fall in battle u die" way,each character has a morale bar,that if the Morale goes down,they die,simple.Morale goes down with every battle you lose,and before battle you can use items you found on maps to restore morale,how ever,while one items might restore 6000 morale for one,it might restore 0 for another.
The game is also very hard,near the end of the game you will have 2 cannons firing at you(1 cannon shot reduces yer morale by 1/4),while you have to deal with the abuse of dragon knights who have better weapons than you.
Story is good,but not great,character's are lovable but dont have much characterization about them,but there will be one character you grow to love (<3 Roswell)..
I basically did all this to prevent people from saying "Whats it like?"
