So yeah, noob Melee player here again.
A while ago, I played a friend in Melee, and it came to a close game. You probably could have seem the disappointment on my face, because I knew I did TERRIBLE in the match (full-hopped when I shoulda short-hopped, couldn't wavedash properly, etc.).
Fast-forward to now, I kicked his ***. Granted, he wasn't that good to begin with, but it felt like a big milestone. It felt like the AT's I was learning was REALLY stepping up game. Also, I think I found someone closer to my skill level around my area, so I'm stepping ever closer to actual competitive Melee.
Life is good for a noob. Life is good.
