...If he were still alive...
It really saddens me to say this, especially with the things I did with my dog. Life goes on, but that's not the point.
How are you suppose to celebrate the birthday of a loved one that is no longer physically on this planet...? I suppose I can go ahead and just take the time to pay my respects once again and think of the good times.
But I do that already on occasion, and that wouldn't be satisfactory for me to do what I already do every now and then. I know it would be for a dog that wouldn't know better, but I always treated him as if he were my younger brother (until he outgrew me after 2 years, 'cause you see, a dog lives through 7 years every human year you see, and I was only 12 by th- eh... you get the joke, I hope), so I want to do something unique, sort of.
I suppose since there's not much to do with that, the only thing I can do is do something good in his name. Would it be silly of me if I dropped Sonic for one day to go all Bowser in a tourney? In case you didn't know/are curious, that's my dog's name, you see.
Thing is, my Sonic is far better than any character I am given the option to play in this game. Unfortunately, that includes Bowser. I fear that I would do nothing more than be some attention-wh*** if I were to do this deed only to suck horribly (I don't mean to!) and make people feel sorry for me.
However, I really do want to go through with it. It would at least make me feel more calm at mind.
I know enough about the basics, but Bowser is a totally opposite character to Sonic in terms of playstyle. They say that basics > anything else, but would it be enough to get me around in a competitive environment? I already struggle to get around with Sonic, it would just be a slaughter especially considering that I only have about a day to practice Bowser until Sunday which is the weekly Vegas tourney.
I'm not even good at making work of how Bowser gets 20 frames of lag after he grab-releases somebody, heheuoh...
Maybe I don't have to go out of my entirely. What if instead of going into the tournament for a subjective purpose (proving that Sonic (a fictional character let me remind you) can get around on his own), that I fight for something that has real meaning to me...? Would a new kind of inspiration help? Guess the only way to see about that is to decide how I'll go about this and stick with that plan.
I'm not about to counterpick top-tiers. One, I'm not good with any of them; and two, People have already been wh***ng themselves out. It's time an underdog (hehe) came around and gave these guys the bone(...r) and show everybody whose top dog!!
I wish Hyper Sonic was a texture hack now, not even Super Sonic can manifest the hope I have for going through with this.
Nothing to talk about in this blog, I just felt like talking to wall/anybody who is crazy enough to enjoy my company. Maybe if anybody is or knows a professional Bowser player, they can give me some quick tips, I'll try playing friendlies at the very least.
...In any case, happy early Bowser, I'll always love you...
