XBOX 360 online

Hey everyone. CA$H here.

I recently got an XBOX 360 for christmas and I need help playing online. I have a high-speed connection. I know that my modem will handle a wireless adapter, but I haven't gotten one yet. Other than those two things, what else will I need to play online and where would I get it?

Hey, I don't know too much on the subject(I'm getting a 360 soon though), but try going to the computer cafe forum for help.

Also, I'm sure Visitor-Messaging one of the regular 360 gamers in the lighthouse would yield nice results.

You need to buy a wireless connector if you are going to connect wireless. However, if your modem is right near your Xbox, you can use an ethernet cable and connect the two.

You can buy a wireless adapter for the 360 at best buy for $100 i think. Haven't been in a while to check, but last time, it was $100. Or, just plug it in with an ethernet cord. One should have come with the xbox. Also, you'll need xbox live. You'll probably have a 1 month membership or something that came with the xbox as well. You can buy prepaid xbox live cards at a ton of stores (walmart, target, best buy, etc.) or, you can use a credit/debit card once you get the xbox hooked up to the internet and just pay from there. You don't "need" a wireless adapter per se. I plug my cable into my laptop and use that as a wireless router because $100 is f'ing ridiculous.
