Wurmple's Evolution in 4th Gen

As you all may have noticed, Wurmple in the 4th Gen has become one of the most weirdest pokemon. Its Evolutions only being determined by hidden factors in the game, also known as Personality Values. If anyone has any info for me about this, inform me and so that we all can solve this issue.

To my understanding, it will evolve into what it evolves into. It's determined by Personality Values, something that can't be altered.
