WTF is the deal with Pokemon Box being hard to find?

I used to think Pokemon Box was the dumbest thing on the GCN. But now, I want to start Ruby again, but I want to store my Pokemon first so I can keep the ones I already spent years training. It would help for the excess I have on Sapphire too, as well as any other games its compatible with.

But I can't find in ANYWHERE. Ebay, GameStop, Wal-Mart, Best Buy. It's like it fell off the face of the earth.

So does anybody know of a place that may still have some copies in stock, new or used?

Heck, if any of you on the boards are willing to sell if you have a copy, i'd be interested.

Found a few on Ebay, but they're PAL copies, so don't think that'll help.

I'd assume it's hard to find due to a storage "game" not being too popular. I'd suggest try contacting Nintendo themselves, see if they've got a copy lying around.

I can tell you the exact reason the USA version is so expensive.

It wasn't a full released game. They made very limited quantities and sold it only at the Nintendo World Store. So go figure, there weren't very many of them and you had to live in NYC to get it at retail.


For a game that's not really a game, I would not invest in it. All you can do is store pokemon from 3rd gen (which can't be transfered back if you've already put them on Diamond or Pearl).

Its not worth paying for that.

If you have so many Pokemon that you need extra storage, you better off buying another copy of Diamond or Pearl.
