WT's Battle of the Lions series is currently the internet's most prestigious invite only competitive smash environment.
We hope to expand our regular tournament member base by holding a free entry, cash prize tournament.
Our tournaments run quickly and smoothly. Our site features an automated league/tournament system, allowing players to enter their own scores and update the tournament ladder.
WT focuses on top level, intelligent gameplay. We do not allow low tier players in our tournaments. We like competitive smashers, with methodical playing styles. Since we only allow active, reliable, and GOOD players in our tournaments, they run well and get our participants great experience.
They are also a good way to meet and greet with some of the best players in the game.

Format: Singles Double Elimination
Tournament registration begins at 2pm pacific / 5pm eastern
Round 1 begins at 3pm pacific / 6pm eastern
You MUST be in the wtclan.com chatroom to be in this tournament. Make sure you can successfully use our chatroom before you sign up. If you are not present before the end of a called round, your match will be forfeit. If you arrive after your first match is forfeit, you MAY get a second chance in the double elimination.
Game rules:
Best of 3 games
3 stock
No time limit
No items
All characters and moves are allowed
No excessive stalling, however. We are looking to get this tournament done quickly.
Map order: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville
Finals are a best of 5, and are recorded by a third party.
Finals map order: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Final Destination, Final Destination
In the event of a disconnect, the stock and damage % will be set back to their respective levels before the disconnect.
1st place prize = 20 USD via PAYPAL only. If you do not have paypal, or access to a paypal account, you will not receive money.
